"Amazing little gem in East Texas!! We had a wonderful, peaceful, relaxing 5 days here. The cabin was beautiful with the live edge pine and cedar on the walls. The hosts were very welcoming, kind, and thoughtful. They went out of their way to make sure our trip was an enjoyable one and we had everything we needed. The baked treats were delicious. "The home is a true diamond! Spacious, clean and complete with every amenity you can possibly need. This home is so comfortable and welcoming. The neighborhood is quiet. It was minutes by car to the downtown area and the grocery store is across the street. I highly recommend staying in this spacious and welcoming home. I will be back and this is now my first choice for any future Jefferson stay. "

"In planning our weekend in Jefferson, we came across the French Country Cottage. It had high ratings and when we arrived it was justed as advertised and rated. "Very nice well kept tiny house. We felt very comfortable and slept great. It had a great little deck overlooking a pond. Only a couple of minor issues - the house is pretty close to the highway so there was some road noise but a fan in the bedroom provided enough white noise to cover it. Also, be aware the cell service was limited. We have ATT and were not able to use cellular. The house does however provide wifi with internet so one can utilize that for texting and wifi calling. "This property was absolutely amazing for me and my family. Better than i even expected. I cant wait to come back again. I did not want to leave. Check in was super easy, plenty of parking area for my group. Only downfall was the wifi but it was not the host fault its just terrible wifi service in that area. No big deal!! "

"Perfect for a weekend getaway! Just 15 miles from historic downtown Jefferson where we spent the days. Then back to the cabin on Lake of the Pines to watch the sunset on the porch of the cabin. So quiet the only noise was the birds at the water and the squirrels chattering and playing. "
