DO NOT STAY HERE. DO NOT BOOK THIS PLACE. For the week before I had to call multiple times and sent multiple unanswered text messages to the host to ask about how to check in and if a travel cot and high chair could be provided. It was only when I called Vrbo that anything ever happened to which I was told there was no check in information available until a few hours before check in. A strange policy choiceOn check in day it wasn't until I spoke to someone at Vrbo multiple times and called them that the check in information was provided. This was provided after check in with incorrect details.When we finally arrived at the property we couldnt have been more shocked at the disgusting property that waited for us. The whole place stunk of cigarette smoke and dust and it was filthy. There were cobwebs everywhere, dust all over the skirting boards, mould and damp patches in most of the rooms and mud stains on the baby cot mattress.

Underwhelmed

Communication from the owners was poor right up until the day of check in. I made contact a few days before we were due to stay, to understand the process of check in. After reading my messages, they totally ignored them and we had to call the night before to make sure that our booking was actually in place. The property itself was spacious and clean, but unfortunately there was no love put into this place at all. The decor was bland and uninviting and minimal to say the least. The chest of drawers were missing drawer fronts, the beds were basic, and not enough towels left for one each person. The photos of the garden on the advert , do not represent what the actual garden looks like, just like the inside, the garden was unloved view no brow at all. There was a manhole cover in the garden that was lifted and very dangerous. This place has 3 bedrooms upstairs and 1 downstairs, but only has a tiny bathroom situated upstairs for everyone. We felt this place has so much potential to be welcoming, if only some investment by the owners was given to the small things that would make a difference ….
