I chose the 36th floor falls view for my mother from Korea. It was clearly marked as the 36th floor, unlike other floors’ views, and I definitely chose it for a room with a good view. However, after arriving on the day, the man at the front desk explained that he couldn't give me a room because it was full, and he said I had to wait to do that. So I couldn't understand, but when I asked if I didn't like it, I could change it to another room, he explained that I could put my name on the waiting list, but he doesn't know how long I would have to wait. There was only one day's schedule in Niagara, so I decided to look at the room and not waste time. After checking in, I didn't like it. I checked the difference in the room price on the Expedia app and contacted with agent that I wanted to get a refund about the difference, but the agent who contacted Ashley of the hotel replied that it would not work. Ashley said that she couldn't refund because she gave me a room with the same conditions, and told me that the room on the high floor was under construction. I felt like I was being forced to refund.The 15th floor is a room that belongs to the option from the 11th to the 18th floor, and I chose the 36th floor, I couldn't understand that the difference can't be refunded.After a total of three chats, I decided to stay because I didn't want to waste my time and ruin my schedule, but I felt uncomfortable. I received a refund of $87.62 from Expedia on the next day I’ll never come back☺️
