"It was an incredible stay in a peaceful, beautiful part of Texas. The hiking offered around the property was gorgeous with views of the surrounding terrain. We were warm after our hike so we swam in the pool, it was very clean and perfect temperature to help cool us down. The free roaming animals were sweet and beautiful, they greeted us shortly after arrival! The back porch was lovely for breakfast or coffee in the mornings. "We had a wonderful girls weekend at the Peaceful Country Retreat with my best friend and her two daughters. The house was perfect and very spacious and lots to keep the kids entertained without having to leave the house for the weekend. We caught so many good size bass and enjoyed cooking out and enjoying the back porch and the scenery. Kelly was very responsive and helpful when needed we can't wait to come back! "
