Beautiful home with stunning views out every window. Twelve kilometres from airport and only 10 minutes from St. John's.

This luxury sproperty sits on the edge of the ocean, pitched on a hilltop in a large private meadow. Surrounded by 7 acres and panoramic ocean views. Situated at the heart of the 'Killick Coast' scenic drive you can watch the whales and icebergs pass by interrupted only by a steady flow of migratory seabirds. Walking distance to Middle Cove beach, where the 'caplin' roll first every year with the whales in tow. Also a common destination for nighttime beach campfires. The hiking trails of the 'East Coast Trail' and picturesque cycling routes are at your door. As well, scenic driving routes and all that St John's has to offer are only a short distance away.

Three bedrooms, king bed in master with ensuite, second bedroom has a queen bed and third with twin beds, den with pull out sofa. A family friendly and nature enthusiast property!

A loft available above the garage for an another family as an add on booking.

We stayed for two weeks at this amazing property. The home is very well appointed, well stocked and was very clean.The location is great. Easily accessible to St John's and its sites but having a view that can't be beat.We saw whales from the first day there.I would highly recommend this property to anyone who is considering Newfoundland.

Logy Bay stay - July 2 to 7th

We spent a week travelling Newfoundland and when we were in St. John’s we decided to stay at the Logy Bay house. We were a party of 5, (Brother and Sister and spouses and 79yr old mother. The check in was flawless, the host extremely responsive to all my questions. The house and views are stunning. The attention to detail in the home is amazing and the amenities were probably one of the best I have ever seen in a vacation home. Each room was tastefully decorated. The views are incredible from each bedroom and the deck off the living room is incredible. Our entire party enjoyed our stay and have memories to last a lifetime. Thanks Paul for hosting us and we hope to be back next year.

Amazing location

This house has an amazing location— my teenagers loved the pool table and dad and I spent hours on the front deck watching for whales—- we saw several most days….the capelin started rolling in middle beach which was quite the site—- the hike to Torbay point was spectacular— would return in a heartbeat next time we are up this way

Middle Cove beach House

Multigenerational family of 8 adults. Stunning location on ocean's edge. Seamless check in and checkout process. Spotless and quiet. Would return to this property in a heartbeat. Due to time constraints could not avail of all perks such as sauna or fire pit but hope to do so on a return trip in the future.

A wonderful staycation!

Our three adult daughters, significant others , two granddaughters, and ourselves attended a family wedding in St. John’s. Our daughters had all travelled from western Canada and it was a real reunion for us! With such a large number and lots of differences among us, I was a bit anxious about enough space! The property proved to be perfect, and when my daughter’s in-laws decided to join for babysitting, the loft became their retreat! The house was fully equipped with everything needed, we bbqed a couple of times and prepared our breakfast every morning. There was ample space , both inside and outside, for everyone to find a quiet place when needed! We enjoyed the fire pit as well. The weather cooperated and we visited Middle Cove beach a couple of times. The distance to St. John’s was very manageable. The host was very responsive and provided everything we needed! Thank you! All in all, it became a wonderful staycation for my husband and I , and this property made it possible!!

Beautiful View!

A wonderful location near Middle Cove Beach with easy access to St. Johns. We loved the beautiful view over the bay and boil-ups at the beach. A lovely property with lots of space - green space outside and games room inside made for a fun family stay!

Beautiful and accessible too! Everything you could want and only 15 min from tons of attractions

Book it- you won’t regret it. I looked long and hard to find a rental that would meet the accessibility needs of my aunt who needed a bedroom and attached bathroom on the main floor- along with four other adults. This fit our needs really well (one small step into the house and then everything else on the main floor). Even the beach down the road had a section that was wheelchair and walker accessible. We loved it and would absolutely come back! Thank you to the Duffy’s for sharing your heavenly home.

Fabulous memories

This truly is an amazing home….comfortable, clean, very homely. Lots of space, we were 7 but certainly not crowded. Beautifully furnished throughout. The views were amazing. We had a mixed bag re weather, but everyday was beautiful. We managed to walk to the beach and do one of the trails. Had a great evening at the fire pit . St John’s and the environs had much to offer, great restaurants. A great first trip to Newfoundland….memories made. We will be back. Thanks to ‘The Duffy family ‘ for making the process very easy…

The Best

OMG! This was the nicest VRBO we have ever stayed at. The house, the property and the views are all stunning! This was our home away from home for 5 nights for us, our adult kids and spouses and 2 grandkids. There was more than enough room and we wanted for nothing. We spotted whales in the bay directly across from the house our very first morning and several times thereafter. This was a vacation and location that won't be forgotten. Unforgettable Stay in Middle Cove

Our family’s journey from Southern California to this 5-star Middle Cove vacation rental exceeded all expectations. The breathtaking ocean view, complete with visible whales from the balcony, captivated us instantly. The home was impeccably furnished and well-stocked, making our stay incredibly comfortable. The in-house sauna was a treat, used daily for added relaxation. The owners were responsive and welcoming, ensuring our needs were always met. Evenings were spent creating memories around the campfire and joining locals at Middle Cove Beach to catch Caplin fish—a unique and enjoyable experience. In short, this was the best family vacation we’ve ever taken, with a perfect blend of luxury and adventure. We wholeheartedly recommend this beautiful rental in Newfoundland.

Wonderful house atop a tall ocean cliff

This rental home is perfect. The house is both spacious and cozy, extremely clean, and well appointed with comfortable beds, a great kitchen, a living room with a fireplace, and even a sauna. The view is spectacular. The location is convenient for walks along ocean headlands and evenings at St John’s pubs. My family had to drag me away.

Comfortable Home in Great Setting

Clean and comfortable modern home. Beautiful setting by the ocean but fyi, the area can be quite windy. The Property Manager was easy to communicate with and was very responsive when we had a few issues. There were problems with the internet and the functioning of the indoor gas fireplace when we arrived. So my only suggestion is that the functioning of everything in the home be checked before each booking. We stayed for 10 days and everything was resolved promptly and professionally in the first couple of days. This is a very nice well kept home in a beautiful unique setting. If you have a rental car, it is really not far from the city if St. John’s and lots of conveniences. We would definitely stay here. again.
