"This is a cracking flat within a short walk of Dumfries town centre. From the outside, the flats don’t look too inspiring, but it’s clearly been renovated recently and it’s been done really nicely. The two rooms are pretty much identical doubles, and the living room/kitchen is a good size. Nice views of the river from most rooms, and a lovely small balcony coming off the main living area. Would definitely come back if in the area."

"The location was as described. Across the street from a large grocery store and on a major route out of and into the city.
But the house itself was older, dark and could benefit from a deep extensive cleaning."

"What a delightful stay! Karen could not have been more kind and welcoming. The Bothy is lovely, well appointed, cozy and very well located, close to the town and hiking. Karen has thought of everything for The Bothy, including a wonderful library of books on the local area. Walking/hiking from The Bothy is brilliant. The back garden is spectacular and the birds and the bird feeder were a constant source of entertainment. Suzy and Radley are Karen’s cutest doggies. If you are considering the...
