"This was our second stay at Pali House Santa Barbara. It’s our favorite place to stay! I would have given this most recent stay 5 stars except we were not told there was a wedding reception happening the one night we were there which included closing the entire patio area. There was quite a bit of noise/music but I will give the hotel credit for ensuring the music went off at 10:00pm. Other than that, we had an amazing time! Will stay again."

"What an amazing, peaceful stay at Simpson House! The staff was wonderful, making us feel extra special for our anniversary. They gave us helpful recommendations and were just so nice and wonderful. The grounds are absolutely beautiful. It’s like your staying in the middle of magical garden. It’s also walking distance to State St shops and restaurants. 5 stars all the way!"

"Very quiet at night. LOVE the minimalist decoration inside the room. Two most important things for us: this hotel takes DOGS and has FREE parking!!! They also offer free breakfast (but we didn’t get to utilize it). The front desk very pleasant and accommodating. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! Thank you for a great stay."

"We chose this hotel very last minute and we found a hidden gem! Location is excellent, literally 3 minutes walking distance from the beach. We absolutely loved the Spanish revival interior (floors and doors are gorgeous!), and the delicious breakfast! "Beautiful property. Staff was so friendly and the restaurant & bar was wonderful and great to have on site. Snacks provided, happy hour and continental breakfast pastries and delicious coffee from SB Coffee company. Rooms were spacious, clean, and bed was comfy. Gardens and cottages have lots of seating to sit & relax. Away from the chaos of downtown & wharf but still walkable. Really loved our stay! We'll be back soon!"
