"Room spacious and comfortable with extras like tea/coffee/water well stocked. Bath was nice to have but also a powerful shower. Food is good although service stops a little early - especially on Sunday. Breakfast very good - all cooked to order."

"Our stay was perfect all the way from the initial, warm greeting from Pattra, to the wonderful room, a lovely Thai dinner and, then, a peaceful night’s sleep and an excellent breakfast. We can offer no improvements. Just thank you for a great visit. It also has a great location-just around the corner from the Castle!"

"This is a gem of an inn, located just a stone’s throw from the castle walls. The woman who runs it is a delight; friendly and helpful. The room and bed were comfortable and well stocked with teas and coffees and the like. The food - both dinner and breakfast - were excellent. It’s an older building so expect occasionally creaking floors (although they are carpeted) and low ceilings, but that just adds to the charm. Highly recommended if you can spend a night in Harlech. "

The restaurant is excellent however do book in advance as it gets very busy and check your bill to ensure the deposit has been removed. We didn’t realise until the day after , it was rectified when we highlighted the mistake.

"Great communication from the owners😊, and we would definitely stay here again, some of the fixtures were a little tired but that didn’t bother us, the room was great, the shower probably one of the most powerful we ever had definitely beats some of the big hotels that we have stayed in. And the breakfast was lovely, the homemade bread was delicious.the bed was very comfy, Everything about this stay was everything we needed. Excellent value for money"

"What a fantastic place! It is in a fairy tale setting and the grounds and town are beautiful! Regan is very knowledgeable about the area and gives great recommendations for places to visit and hike. The food is exceptional and the staff warm and friendly. This was our favorite spot on our 2 week long trip. Highly recommended! "

"Richard is very much the 'Host with the Most'. Very chatty and friendly, and knowledgeable about the area. He went above and beyond for us...Carrying our cases up to the top floor...And down again when we left. Plus he does a cracking packed lunch.
Our room was more than adequate, comfy and clean.
The only gripe from our point of view is that we'd prefer proper cups and spoons..."

"Lovely guest house with a warm and welcoming host!… very much enjoyed my stay and everything was perfect. Cosy and comfortable clean room, with all the necessary facilities (plenty of tea/coffee/milk/sugar) to make many cups! Not like hotels in which you’re lucky to get 2.
The room was nice and warm, with extra radiators which I was thankful for as I do feel the cold easy, so I felt very cosy!
Bed was comfortable and shower was nice and hot. No dips in water temperature. Nice touch with mini...
