"Was the perfect romantic last minute get away will be going back again "

"Absolutely stunning location, I'm genuinely so gutted of how short my time was staying here as me and my partner were away most days from the cottage. Tŷ Bach was so clean and tidy, everything you needed was there. The water gets hot in an instant. Access and parking is easy for how rural and "cut off" you'd expect it to be. The main bridge was being fixed during our visit but it was still easy for both me and my partner to get up to it, which Mari kindly let us know about and gave me directions...

"From booking to check-out, it has been a wonderful experience and we didn't want to leave!We're the "city" type of people so we had pre-arrival jitters. Dan, the host/owner, gave good instructions for arrival, and boy, what a fantastic stay it was!!It's a beautifully refurbished 1500's house (see the plaque at the house) with wifi, mains electric, heating, hot water, showers/toilets, modern cooker and under counter fridge.Want to reconnect to Mother Nature? "This stay in Wales was truly unforgettable, set amidst a beautiful secluded landscape. The valley where this tiny, perfect cottage is nestled is nothing short of breathtaking.Our host was so welcoming, and we were really impressed with the excellent facilities. "The house was cozy and warm, and lovely and quiet. We had a nice relaxing stay, garden is lovely and delicious homemade cake on arrival. Host was helpful and accomodating, and check in was easy. Nice walks from the cottage. Very close to the border with Wales, went to Powis Castle which is worth a visit. The local area is a bit sparse for shops, would recommend having a car, but Shrewsbury is a lovely historic town closeby, we used the park and ride (15 mins away). Definitely would recommend...

"Spent 3 nights over new year at the cottage.Had a lovely time and visited Llangollen only 30 mins ways forNew Year’s Day. Aled was very helpful as usual."

"Everything was perfect! Really clean, really quality natural way built property! Quite and amazing! Amazing experience with the waterfalls within short distance and all Nature around! I have to mention and our new friend The Black Cat , so friendly and lovely!Recommended!"

"This is our second stay at this property and it was once again, everything we wanted. The weather wasn’t great and with children to entertain, a walk across the road and we were in the leisure centre where there’s a great swimming pool plus slide. The house was great for relaxing, the kitchen enormous so all the chefs in the family could work alongside each other as one was outside bbqing. We will be returning again next year, we absolutely love coming to stay. Thank you "

"Very nice large property, excellent bedrooms. Great view from garden overlooking the river. Everything is in the property you need except an ice cube maker, and garden needs a little tidy ."

"Lovely quaint accommodation "

"Lovely feel to the cottage. Well equipped and spotlessly clean. Wifi a bit sketchy at times but pretty good on the whole. We loved the outside verandah which was beautiful in the afternoon and evening sun and great for a BBQ. "

"An absolute beautiful property perfect for a family get together. The property is very well presented and cleanliness is second to none. Its a very well equipped property with everthing you could ever need. The games room was superb and all the family enjoyed. The layout of the property is perfect and there are lots of seating areas if you are looking to relax. Checkin process was super simple and the host is always on hand if required. We had an amazing stay and would 100% stay here again."
