"This was our first time staying here and it certainly won't be our last. The shepherd's hut is beautifully decorated and has such a cosy and comfortable feel to it. The under floor heating kept it lovely and warm too despite the snow outside (which also made it super pretty). The outside space was so private and had a fantastic view over the fields and to the hills beyond. Our favourite thing was sitting out at night by the fire pit and relaxing, looking up at the stars. "Extremely spacious and well equipped with one exception, given the unusually warm weather—no AC, some fans, and no screens on windows that do open. The garden has a knockout location right on the river and some rooms also have this gorgeous view, including the huge bathroom with freestanding tub. There are however a lot of stairs. Kitchen is on lowest floor. Entry and dining and parlor are on street level, and there is no bathroom on that floor. So it’s a trek from kitchen to loo. The top floor...

"Amazing! Helens' cottage is beautiful. A hidden gem, exceeded our expectations. The rooms are spacious ,clean ,and everything you need is there and all good quality. Don't let the 4ft bed put you off, it's so comfy and you'd be missing out on a fantastic break. It's peaceful, amazing views, walks. Only a short walk to Llangollen, such a pretty town. We will definitely be returning and highly recommend it .Helens' attention to detail is no less than perfect."

"Lovely log cabin, very clean , excellent central heating with radiators in every room. Good sized fenced in garden for our dog to run around in. Veranda with table and chairs where you can sit back and watch countryside and wonderful sunsets. The cabin is up a steep gravel track so would not be suitable for cars with low ground clearance. The owner was very nice."

"It was an amazing experience! The accommodation was spotless, beautifully maintained, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.
