"Comfortable stay the night before the Bala swim. Service at evening meal was excellent. Breakfast service Terrible as only 1 member of staff at start of breakfast. Long wait until more staff arrived. Most of us needed feeding before the swim & a few left even though it was included. "

"What a fabulous place and amazing owners. Nigel and Clare are just lovely people. Nothing is too much trouble for them. The alpacas, ducks and hens make it a really interesting place to stay as well. Much easier travel into Betws, Conwy and Snowden from this side as well."

"Nice old hotel right in the centre of Bala. Secure off road parking behind hotel for my motorbike. Not much choice of ales. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. "This is a nice comfy hotel. We stayed bed and breakfast, which was cooked really nice . The staff are lovely, helpful and friendly. It maybe a little old fashioned but it was a really nice and comfortable along with being good value for money, and we will definitely be back."

"Our stay was fabulous. The food is 12/10 We had our dog with us so we had to eat in the bar but it has a roaring fire and a lovely atmosphere and I’d argue this was the best seat in the house. Our room was in a little outbuilding and it was just perfect. Super quiet of a night too. The servers are all very young and the best and most smiley service I’ve had in a long time "
