"We had the best time at the Whale on Main! Communication was excellent, we were welcomed so warmly by the host (including a glass of Gluhwein!), and she even upgraded our room at no cost! Fantastic local recommendations, cute little honest bar, great reading options, and an OUTSTANDING breakfast cooked to order! "Pure Bliss, this is an amazing location. The silence and nature is perfect just to get away from the hustle and bustle. The owner is also very welcoming making sure there is enough wood and making sure our stay was amazing. The Hot tub is amazing and overlooks the forest. So cosy and relaxing. Its also only 1.30min from Cape Town."

"Exceptional service by the front staff. Our apartment was very clean and well stocked for our stay. Located in the perfect location to walk everywhere, with onsite and secure parking. We wish we had longer to stay!"

"A beautiful property in a great location overlooking the Cliff Path Walk that takes you directly to Hermanus. A view to die for. During whale season - you can see whales out in the bay from your room. Wonderful and gracious service. Excellent breakfast’s and spectacular art work throughout the property. Was everything we hoped for and more. The staff was great and arranged all our area activities. They were extremely knowledgeable and helpful. "

"Very safe. Enclosed yard parking. Genuine ocean view from Maine Rd to the bay. Easy walk to town. No catering at Guest House, but inclusive vouchers for full breakfast at restaurant in town. Excellent idea, walk for breakfast before other activities. Owner very "hands on" and a real source of good advice."
