"A beautiful picturesque cottage in a very quiet and peaceful area. Everything worked well, and was clean in every aspect. We didn't canoe at all as we're not really on-the-water people, but we enjoy relaxing by it...nearby Bancroft had everything we needed as well. Had a nice relaxing time."

"Tom's Rustic Cottage was a great escape from the city. The cottage had everything we needed, bedding, kitchen supplies, and a fire pit for smores. The lake was clean, peaceful, and didn't have any seaweed tickling my toes. Best of all, we were able to bring our dogs and spend a week with them enjoying the outdoors. Great Stay."

"The perfect slice of tranquility. We were immersed in nature. That means quiet, bird song and croaking frogs. It meant a visit from a tortoise, turkeys and the sound of whispering leaves. The cabin is well appointed and clean. It felt comfortable. It was the relaxing getaway... with ping pong and a little canoeing. The only downside was some mosquito bites... expect that when going into nature! Overall, it couldn't have been better. "

"Such a beautiful cottage and area! A nice and quiet lake. We stayed with some friends and all our kids. The shallow beach was perfect for the kids to play in and lots of sand to build castles. The cottage is very spacious for us all. We had a blast and will definitely rent again. The owners were super friendly and easy to get a hold of. Place is very clean and organised too. "

"Place was great. The only complaint we would have is that the lower level was quite chilly. An extra heat source down there in the winter would be good. It was a little chilly for the little ones. "

"This was a great place to stay with our elderly parents. The home is very clean with every comfort required. The check in was very straight forward. The walk to the lake is breath taking and beautiful. The lake is clean and has a lovely sandy bottom. There is a canoe and sup boards, however we did not use them as the water was a bit rough. I would recommend this place for any family get away."

"We had such an amazing week at this cottage, wished we had rented it for longer! The location is peaceful and quiet, the sound of the Palmer Rapids in the distance at night was like listening to the ocean. The cottage was very well equipped with everything you need, (especially the kitchen), comfortable beds and furniture, and we loved sitting out on the screened porch to read, eat or lie in the hammock. The swimming and fishing was great from the dock (but water gets deep fast!), and we loved...

"My family had a wonderful time at the Sunny Shores Lakehouse. The house is beautiful and well kept. The kitchen is well stocked and the new gym was used daily by us.As nice as the house was, we spent most of our time on the dock or in the water. The lake is clear and clean. Our twin 7 year old girls loved using the two children’s kayaks. The canoe and paddle board were also put to use. We spent a lot of time fishing from the dock and on canoe/kayak and caught numerous trophy sized bass. The...

"Honestly, just a beautiful cottage with gorgeous water and a lovely dock. Lots of trees, lovely sunsets/sunrises, a big fire pit — the place that had everything we needed and more. I can’t say enough about Brad’s place. We really loved our week here. Brad, too, was great, and made the check-in and check-out super easy. Well come again if this cottage is available down the road.Thanks Brad for a great week! "
