"👍"

"This hotel more than exceeded our expectations. In fact we were blown away by everything. Friendly staff on reception, lovely decor, our room on the first floor was nicely decorated, and the breakfast was delicious. There is loads of parking. We'd definitely stay here again. Wish more hotels were like this one!!!"

"We really enjoyed our stay in an old mansion. The staff were friendly and helpful, our room was clean, spacious and warm. We could hear the door closing in the corridor a few times but it did not disturb our sleep. Breakfast was perfect. We would recommend a stay at this hotel."

"Lots of space for parking,no Wi-Fi,I will give 2-3star,£90 for one night not worth it"

"I absolutely loved this hotel. The only thing was having to walk from their car park to the hotel which wasn’t very well signed but in all fairness was I could have read about this before checking in. Staff were amazing and so very friendly. They were happy to help and offer advice throughout the stay. Dinner and breakfast was lovely. Cocktails great and overall a beautiful stay - if I could have stayed an extra night I would have done. Our room was up in the rafters and was superb. A twin...

"Well appointed, lovely room, highly recommended."

"All the staff I came across had a lovely helpful attitude. The room was basic, but that was what I paid for. Every where was clean. They have added double glazing inside the sash windows so although room was on the main high street it was super quiet - had a great night's sleep. Didn't have breakfast, but did have an evening meal which was OK nothing special."

"What a lovely stay! Beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean and a super comfortable bed! The staff were all so friendly, happy and helpful, making us feel really welcome. The cosy, atmospheric bar and dining area was a lovely place to spend the evening, with fantastic food and a beautiful selection of wines and whiskies. Breakfast was equally delicious, with the Eggs Benedict an absolute must! A really lovely place to stay, full of character and warmth. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and...

"Over all happy with the stay. It's clean and tidy close to every thing. Didn't have breakfast so can't comment on that. Large towls were missing and the hair dryer but were bought to the room as soon as we asked for them. Excellent service. Two down falls. The shower. Large people might struggle to get in the shower as the door hing is 1/5 along the door so the door when opened doesn't hit the toilet. Second issue the road noise. We visited in September so temperature was still warm. You...

"We loved our stay here. You could instantly tell that the owners cared about the place and want you to have a good stay. Andrea was really lovely and helpful with local recommendations and cooked an amazing breakfast."

"Beautiful location, excellent parking and lovely choices of places to eat. Breakfast was outstanding with lots of quality eg coffee choice of bread, granola and much more. It was clear the owner takes pride in the services available. Highly recommended "

"Great value, superb location, got a very highly rated Italian right opposite, Little Italy it's called. Got a Tesco Express near by & it's under 10 mins walk to the bars, the pier, beach, train station etc 😊"

"Good staff"

"All the staff, Reception, Kitchen, Bar & Cleaners were very friendly and helpful, the arrangements for Breakfast & Dinner were well signed. The Food was very well prepared and presented, the choices available were various"

"Clean, mattress not suitable for an adult."

"Queen room, comfortable bed with views at the back of the property, no ventilation due no opening windows, dusty fun, no space to put luggages or hooks to hang clothes at the back of the main door. Small wardrobe with 5 hungers. Spacious bathroom but run down, update needed. Staff didn’t mention where to go to visit or menu/price breakfast."

"The room [room 10, double en suite] was nothing like the pictures. First you had to lean on the door to get in cos it's too big for the frame. Then once you are in it smelled like a teenage boys room, sweat and lynx. The carpet was badly worn and peeling off the floor, the cheap divan base was broken so the mattress was either springy or wavy, didn't dare actually look at the mattress... Cobwebs around the window show how long since that was cleaned and general bits of wallpaper coming off the...
