"Despite the record heat, the AC kept the cabin cool and the lake was a great way to cool off outside. Loved the historic but well equipped kitchen. The only comment would be there is no internet or cell service. But for me that is a plus."

"We had a wonderful time. The house was beautiful and clean, very comfortable! Beds were comfortable, kitchen had everything we needed and even though there was no A/C, there were ceiling fans and other fans to keep it cool enough. Overall it was a very nice place. "

"We loved our stay at this cozy cabin. Lori was easy to reach and allowed us an early check in since we were arriving into town early Friday morning. She also allowed us a little later check out on Sunday. There is a private dock which we used the entire time for fishing. Lisa, her husband, and her family were staying at the home next door but very quiet and respectful so didn’t bother us one bit. "We had a great time! We were originally planning to go tent camping and due to thunderstorms in the forecast we canceled that reservation and found this cabin available. We are SO glad we did! The cabin is small but very much everything we needed. Yes there were cobwebs and spiders and the cabin is not fully updated but truthfully, I believe if it was - the charm would be lost! I believe the owners live across the way in a home on the property and they were kind enough to provide us with dry...

"Plenty of space for everyone and a back yard you cannot beat. We all enjoyed our stay! Dog friendly and good communication. Would stay here again!"

"Clean, with great amenities for our fishing trip. Exactly as pictured and a good fit for our party of 6. Upstairs bathroom a big plus, tho water pressure limited showering up there. Responsive and helpful host. So glad we found this listing!Panfish aplenty in mid July.... Didn't see a bass or a muskie but did land a nice pike! "

"The place was really nice. Had all the amenities that you would expect. Convenient location not far from the downtown area."

"We have stayed at this property twice in different size units. The 2 bedroom unit is perfect. Kitchen is fully stocked with all the necessary utensils. The unit is exceptionally clean. Will stay there anytime we are in Phillips. "

"The house was large and airy, and immaculate. The kitchen was very well-stocked with every kind of utensil, pot, pan, and dish. We enjoyed watching humming birds, turkeys, deer, chipmunks, herons, goldfinches, mourning doves, and squirrels. The yard was large enough for leisurely walks with our dog, and although we didn't use it, the fire bowl was beautiful. I can't recommend this rental enough!"
