"We had a great time. Everything you would expect from a Minnesota Cabin. The lake was nice and caught several nice fish...we put them back so they're still in there. Dog loved it. Too hot for the hot tub but looked well kept and perfect for cooler weather. We'd go back again. Friendly neighbors/people passing by on the lake. There was one restaurant about 15 minutes away. Brought a George Foreman and that worked out nice for cooking. There was a grill but never used it/looked at it....

"The bed is wonderfully comfortable. We loved the spacious bathroom. Plenty of natural light. Great location right outside the park entrance. We recommend it!"

"We stayed for our recent trip to visit the Mississippi Headwaters. Located across the street from the entrance road. Headwaters are about a 5 minute drive.The room is as advertised. Everything looks freshly remodeled. The beds are comfy and everything is very clean. It is very quiet and the TV channel selection is exceptional."

"We spent a week at a cozy cabin near Waubun, MN, on Elbow Lake, and it was a fantastic experience. The cabin had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We did encounter a small issue with the septic system, but the owner responded promptly and went above and beyond by offering a large refund for the inconvenience without us even asking. Their attentiveness and accommodation made our stay even better. Highly recommended!"

"The peace and quite was needed. Had a fire one evening while we looked at every star in the sky. Spent our days in Itasca on the water and went for dinner in Park Rapids. Overall awesome location and far better then tent camping. "

"There is nothing about this place that isn’t absolutely beautiful in every way. The home was unique and so comfortable, decorated and finished with such care. The location, so remote and quiet. The 360°views from the upstairs deck, numerous windows or just walking around the carefully landscaped yard were amazingly beautiful! Cell reception and internet were just enough to keep up on things. It was good to get away from the distraction of technology. Our host Annie was on the spot to help us get...

"Drop dead gorgeous lake without the jammed, crowded lake houses so many other Minnesota lakes offer. Unique island location. The sauna was immensely popular with everyone. Special feeling to float in the lake at night after the sauna experience. Armada of toys and games kept the young ones engaged. Kayaks and paddle boards. Two fridges were ever so helpful when you have a party of 12 as we did. Communication with the host was lightning-fast and friendly. The island is a magnet for fish. Overall,...

"Classy property with modern amenities and peaceful seclusion. Very thoughtful and responsive owners. We'll be back!"

"The property was 10/10, hot tub overlooking the lake, stocked firewood, lots of kids activities to offer. The only downfall was my dad had a very difficult time getting to the bathroom in his wheelchair, the hallways and bathroom very tight to be classified as “wheelchair accessible” The ramp is doable with assistance up and the entrance was very wide with open floor plan through the living room and into the kitchen. If staying and in a wheelchair, you may be struggle a bit."
