"Small but very comfortable and well equipped cabin. Everything you need is there, and the destination fee includes snacks, coffee and water, and 3 bundles of fire wood a day. We loved the fire pit! "

"Absolutely loved staying here and would stay again! The view of the water is so calming- we looked for wildlife and saw a crane eating. We read in the nook overlooking the water. We walked along the beach. The place has pictures of the parents who had owned the home and gives it a sweet feel. Highly recommend!"

"Everything from checking in to checking out was great. So many touches of a warm home to make my daughter and I feel like we were wrapped in a warm blanket. So many details from beach towels, to hot chocolate, to a popcorn maker and a book of great things to do in the area. Kitchen and bathroom were super clean with awesome shampoo. The view was top-notch. Location is close to everything but just far enough way to feel like you are in the woods. Covered parking was a plus. Will stay there...

"The rental was awesome! Definitely dated but it was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed how close it was to the beach you could walk on and that it was a very short drive to La Conner. A few things that would’ve made it a little better: we cooked dinner and breakfast at the rental and the pots/pans were very old and stained. "The listing described the property as a charming lake cottage, but it feels more like a guest room as it is attached to the garage and right next to the entrance to the main house. It's a cute space, but not quite what we expected from the description. While the owner was very friendly, this setup felt more like we were intruding on a private space than staying in a standalone cottage. Clarifying this in the listing would help future guests know what to expect."

"This was perfect for our anniversary trip! The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed for our long weekend with our pups. Paddle boarding was too fun and the hot tub was such a treat. There was enough space for dog crates so our dogs had a familiar place to settle. We loved our walks around the lake and lounging on the deck. "Love the location and little cabin in the woods. Short drive up to Bellingham, retro decoration, quiet and peaceful."

"The home is great for a multi-family stay as there are two private kitchen areas, two living areas, and three bedroom areas. Plenty of space with a nice view of the bay. Easy access and a quiet peaceful neighborhood. They have stuff for kids, kayaks and a sauna for adults so there is something for everyone to enjoy and keep themselves busy. We enjoyed our time and made for a great trip out to the island."

"My mom was thrilled with the tiny house. She said it was clean, comfortable, well appointed with everything she needed, and loved there was a fire pit. She was worried about the self check-in (she is 80 & not used to that sort of thing), but had no problems. All she wanted for her birthday was a couple of days to hike, so that is what I got her and the location was perfect!
