    Estamos mucho más cerca que Red Feather Lakes, donde los caminos no son cuidados y a veces traicioneros.
    Esta no es una habitación dentro del lugar de otra persona. como la mayoría de los otros ofrecen. Esta es su cabaña propia de 148 años, privada, histórica y totalmente remodelada. ¡No escuchará a nadie toser, estornudar o sacudir sartenes para preparar su desayuno!
    ¡Sabemos que disfrutará de nuestra cabaña restaurada de 148 años con las mejores vistas de este lado de las Montañas Rocosas! Mientras cena fuera de nuestro West Sunroom con ventanas de vidrio de 8 x 12, podrá contemplar el Parque Nacional Mummy Range y Rocky Mountain. ¡Construimos esta habitación pensando en los huéspedes!
    Los alojamientos son muy cómodos con una cama doble Serta en el marco de Aspen, microondas, fridg del tamaño de un dormitorio, sauna Finlea dentro de su cabina, Majestic Twilight Master Spa (bañera de hidromasaje) a unos pasos y 3 fogatas también. Hermosas áreas para sentarse, observar la vida salvaje, las aves o caminar!
    La actividad celestial en la noche sin farolas es fenomenal. No es raro ver lluvias de meteoritos y estrellas fugaces en su estadía. También hay calefacción y aire acondicionado si lo necesita.
    Nada súper lujoso, pero aislado, privado, limpio y hermoso.
    Ven a alejarte de todo con nosotros!
    (¡Verizon y Xfinity funcionan de maravilla aquí!)
    No hay TV, VCR o reproductor de DVD. pero excelente WIFI satelital de ALTA VELOCIDAD si necesita su propio dispositivo.

    Simplemente paz y tranquilidad para el tiempo de inactividad y la relajación suprema. Desconéctese de los sonidos de nuestra corriente, búhos de cuernos grandes, coyotes y naturaleza. El "sonido del silencio" es realmente un lujo en este día y tiempo.
    Desayuno GOURMET COMPLETO servido para las dos primeras mañanas a las 8 a. metro. en la hermosa sala de sol de nuestra cabaña principal! We had a beautiful night at this cabin, the night sky was just as beautiful as they described it, and I could just live in that sauna. We'll be back!

Beautiful and quiet!

Cozy cabin with peace and quiet, wonderful hosts who anticipate your needs. Not to mention a sauna and then a hot tub with a clear view of the night sky. Perfect for our honeymoon!

This was an ADORABLE cabin located on gorgeous property. The cabin was even better in person with all the fun accents. This was exactly what we needed and the ease of checking in/out made it even better. Thank you for sharing your space.

Dream vacation to unwind and de-stress

Breathtaking location. The family that owns the property are extremely friendly and offer a wide variety of amazing suggestions and add-ons to the package. The cabin is truly something spectacular and is extremely comfortable.Me and my wife had an absolute blast enjoying the scenery in Colorado and getting to come back and relax at the cabin and take in all the stargazing.We will definitely be going back in the winter for another couple's retreat. Would absolutely recommend to anyone looking to get away and unwind for a little bit.

The cabin and surrounding property are very beautiful, and the host was kind and responsive. We had a peaceful stay overall.That said, the cabin was more cluttered than what was shown in the listing photos, which differed from our expectations. We also found that the propane on the grills was empty, and we were unable to get the electric kettle to work during our stay. This was just a little disappointing given the price point of this listing. Overall, it’s a lovely location with a welcoming host, but we felt some aspects of the listing did not fully reflect the experience. With a bit more alignment between the listing and the on-site experience, it could be even better.

We had an amazing stay here. We were in town for a family reunion weekend and found this little place that was perfectly located for us. What we weren’t ready for was everything else that we got. Hospitality and the little attention to detail that the hosts and this neat little place offers. The feel of the history of the area was captured in this old cabin. And we didn’t need much from our hosts but they were very hospitable and ready to attend to anything we would need. Communication was soo on point as was everything on the property made us feel welcome and special. I hadn’t been to Colorado in 20 years and this was my wife’s first trip, and even though we were only there for 3 days this cabin helped make our add to the fun-ness of the trip. Highly recommend staying here.

A cowboy getaway

Wow!! Where do i start? From the time we requested the place to booking the cabin it was so easy. It was a geataway we hoped for for so long. We got to the cabin and the place was so rustic and dated to our liking. The farm was with chickens and a horse and the views were lpriceless. Thank you.

We understood that the building was very old and were totally fine with that and understood what we may experience due to its age. However, waking up with a mouse turd stuck to my face was not pleasant. The glass table between the two chairs outside was broken and unusable. The two chairs on the porch had cloth seats, not sure why that makes sense as it had rained while we were there, and then we couldn't sit on the chairs cause they were soaked. I didn't feel the description of the place explained that the hot tub was NOT private and sat at the back door of the owner's home. So we were not inclined to use it. Based on the amount we paid, along with what I've listed above, and having to do our own dishes was not received well. We will not recommend this property nor will we return.

Beautiful

The cabin was nice and homey. Karen and Al were so friendly and were the first thing we were greated by after a 12 hour drive. Karen was very helpful over the phone answering any questions I had. Other than that I did not see much of them. There property is beautiful and I'm so glad we got to see it when it was raining as it made it even more a rare site for city people like myself and my partner. The hottub was a nice thing we used every night to relax after site seeing every day. It over all was a very relaxing and peaceful stay and I could not have asked for anything better.

Nice place

I liked staying at the tranquil homestead. It is on a very pretty property, though about 25 feet from main home. The sauna and farm setting there were an awesome experience. The sparsely furnished cooking items were camp clean. I was surprised that I needed to clean flies out of the coffee pot, for example. The cabin itself is a mix of old and new, so hard to nail the feeling created there. It's cozy and charming in it's own way. While I enjoyed our stay, I thought it was quite expensive and was rubbed the wrong way the surprise mandatory insurance on checkout. I also wasn’t a fan of the numerous disclosures about what not to do as a guest, that creates a bit of tension in trying to enjoy the experience.

Our host was very kind and welcoming. The cabin was unique and historic. She very kindly allowed us to have a campfire in the evening and that was very special E-bike riding on the road and enjoying the views was a blast! House was warm. A good amount of bedding was provided. Unfortunately the house was much more cluttered than I would have liked. There was nowhere to open and place a suitcase. There were a very large number of decorative objects (including a few Christmas decorations), so much that there was no shelf space even for the few kitchen supplies provided and they mostly resided in a low bench in the kitchen. This would have been more handy if on a shelf or there was a proper cabinet in the living area and then the bench could be used for suitcase storage. The bedroom had a queen size bed up against the wall with a giant head and footboard that was lovely but to large for the space. A partner in the bed has to crawl over the other person to get out of the bed. The pillows were worn and flat. The outside of the house was also quite cluttered and many things sitting around outside with no organization or purpose, things like extra gas containers, hand weights, a ladder, a sink apparatus on the front porch which did not pump water (except manually), nor did the other sink in the yard. We did dishes in the bathroom sink. She is a nice lady and I just think the house needs a little sprucing up and it would be perfect.

Karen and Al were incredibly gracious hosts! The property was exactly as described and extremely clean. We enjoyed our stay and would book here again.

Amazing Getaway!

We live in Loveland so this was a short weekend getaway for our anniversary. We had so much fun! The hosts are amazing and so accommodating. They had a beautiful breakfast spread for us and the hot tub was extremely clean and comfortable. The cabin is cozy, warm and clean. The bathroom was excellent with all the accommodations you could ever need! The 360 views are INCREDIBLE! Pictures do not do it any justice. Do not hesitate to stay here! We already can't wait to go back. Thank you Karen and Al! We will see you soon!

Beautiful stay!!

So thankful for this stay! For someone to open up there home and be so kind, what an experience. Couldn't ask for a better vacation. Being a nurse and my husband military this was peaceful, I have told friends and family about this place. So if you want coffee with a view an amazing egg Benedict, like shopping with amazing food, and a beautiful hike. It seriously has it all!

Cozy little cabbin. Well insulated. Bed is very comfortable and soft. Nice area for a mountain hike.

It was a nice get away. Host was amazing and helpful. Would stay here again.

Breathtaking views and first class hospitality, can’t wait to go back again

Karen made our visit very simple, very easy, and incredibly enjoyable. We just needed a weekend to get away from all the day to day tediousness and recharge our batteries. We are already making plans to go back in the spring or very early summer…. Cross Creek Ranch is spectacular and we greatly appreciate Karen sharing her home with us for a couple days. everything was great here. hikes, horses, tranquility. cabin is small but in the right way. has everything you need and more. karen is a perfect host and friendly as can be.

Nice relaxing country cabin.

We were in the area for a wedding and choose to stay at the cabin for a little seclusion and relaxation from a hectic family wedding on a different ranch. It was nice to come back to the peace and quiet of the property and use the jacuzzi. The owners are very nice pleasant and were spot on with the breakfast recommendations for Verne’s in LaPorte.
