"Had a wonderful stay at the Shangri-La Mountain Retreat! Not a stretch to say one of the best stocked rental homes ever I've ever booked. We stayed two nights with three families including kids ranging from 2-12 years old. Everything you could ask for was available for cooking in the kitchen with more than enough glasses and tableware in excellent condition. There is a high quality gas range which was wonderful if you like to make meal. The hosts had just installed a new grill which we used to...

"We immediately settled right in and relaxed. The dogs loved it too! The wood stove kept things nice and warm inside the cabin despite it being in the 30s outside. Nearby hiking and activities were great. The wolf Conservatory, Lions Tigers and Bears, Lake Cuyamaca, and Julian were all visited and thoroughly enjoyed. Great spot for a weekend getaway!"

"Home was very clean and located in a peaceful surrounding. "

"A great spot to stay for two nights while we did the 16 mile Goat Trestle Bridge hike. Comfortable, clean, and the host was incredibly responsive and helpful. The grounds are wonderful with hiking trails, pools, hot tub, and a fun bar / restaurant. Would definitely reccomend and would stay again. "

"With the Renaissance of the town of Jacumba Hot Springs, we are so glad this property is still available and the vibe has not changed. It's rejuvenating to stay here in this magical spot."

"So the TV did work but it was difficult to get previsit communication . The person and her telephone number was no longer the manager. I did report this on site aand it should be corrected. Kim is the current contract person…..Great location and dining is walking distance. Thanks, Sally"

" Flicking the light switches by the door didn't turn on the light. We arrived after dark and had to use a flashlight to see where the next light switch was. There were no instructions how to re-lock the electronic lock, and we ended up leaving the door unlocked all weekend. Otherwise, it was a nice, quiet, peaceful weekend, and everything went well."
