"Staying at this trailer was the highlight of our whole Alaska trip. Big Lake is stunning and this property is tucked away. The hosts are close and kind - offering true hosting of the area. The stay is glamping without having to travel with a ton of camping gear. In hindsight, we would have stayed longer. "

"Cottage fit the 2 of us perfectly, plenty of room in the kitchen to cook. Couch was comfortable and adjustable to fit different needs. 2 moose came right by it our first night there! We really enjoyed our stay and would stay again!"

"We had an incredible stay at the Roaming Iris for our elopement in Alaska. Everything was as described, if not better. The cabin was spotless, beautifully decorated, and fully stocked with everything you could need. The location was perfect-close to Wasilla and Palmer with great restaurants, cafes, and activities. The host was extremely responsive and thoughtful. It’s clear that they truly care about their guests’ experience. We could absolutely stay here again and highly recommend to anyone...

"Place was perfect for 2 people. Appreciate the color safe shampoo and conditioner. Could have more kettles and an ice cream scooper. Bed was comfy. Had trouble with the app as we were traveling to cabin and I kept emailing the host to text me the entry code and she did not respond so I called VRBO to get information. The guy there told me the code and he called the host to tell her to text me instead because I couldn't receive emails. The host then emailed me again. Never text me at all. Good...

"We enjoyed our stay, it is located outside of Anchorage so it was quiet but not too far. We traveled daily and this was a great place to come "home" to each evening. There were plenty of extras as well, from a small cooler for road lunces, to bear spray for those remote trail hikes. Even some spices in the cupboard. "
