  • Nuestra casa tiene 5 dormitorios y 3. 5 baños. Se encuentra en una cala tranquila en el lago Gaston en casi 2 acres. El maestro de la planta principal tiene una cama king size número de sueño y baño completo con bañera y ducha. Hay tres dormitorios en el segundo piso con camas queen y 2 baños completos con bañeras. El quinto dormitorio está en el 3er piso donde tenemos un futón queen con una litera encima y un sofá cama doble con un nido doble. Tenemos un área abierta de estar / comedor / cocina que conduce a la sala de sol, que tiene excelentes vistas al lago. Una parrilla de gas grande está disponible para su uso. Tenemos una nueva sala de juegos con aire acondicionado con mesa de ping pong y tejo estilo pub. Tenemos un agujero de maíz para su disfrute y un fogón para esas noches frescas. Tenemos 3 kayaks y 1 canoa con remos y PFD para su uso. Tenemos varias balsas para todas las edades. Spectrum de alta velocidad de internet y TV están disponibles. Tenemos 4 televisores en el hogar. Se proporciona un suministro inicial de productos de papel. Tenemos una lavadora y secadora y los productos de lavandería están incluidos en su alquiler. También ofrecemos ropa de cama sin cargo adicional. Las camas estarán recién hechas a su llegada. La cocina está bien equipada y hay un refrigerador extra para su uso en la sala de juegos.

    Lake Gaston es uno de los principales lagos de pesca en Carolina del Norte y Virginia. Bass, stripers, walleye y bagre hacen de este uno de los mejores destinos de pesca en el este de los Estados Unidos. We had a great time and we were able to park our boat at the dock on the property. House is very nice and big enough for family gatherings, would not hesitate to rent this place again.

Clean property with all amenities needed. It was plenty of room for 7 adults to be together but have privacy when needed. We really enjoyed our stay.

The property was very close to our reunion spot. The beds were comfortable, and the house was well-stocked with everything we would need for our week stay. Aside from the few hiccups with the washing machine, our stay was very enjoyable.

Beautiful home on a quiet inlet on Lake Gaston. We appreciated the ability to dock our boat alongside the owner's boat dock. The house was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed from bedding to bath and kitchen essentials. The firepit, kayaks and swingset were bonuses! The hosts were a pleasure to work with.

Relaxation

This is a great property, full of wonderful amenities, things like coffee, sugar, paper towels, laundry soap, hand soap, tinfoil, Ziploc bags, and K-cups. Clean home with lots of towels, games, puzzles, and outside toys.

LOVE!

Communication with Denise was easy and timely. Kitchen is stocked with everything anyone could possibly need. House is very cozy, sunroom nice and big for our crew. Beds comfy, linens and towels, clean and soft. Highly recommend this house. ENJOYED our week for sure.

Enjoyed our getaway

We enjoyed our time at the rental. Great communication with hosts and very responsive to our needs. They even went so far as to buy a full size ironing board when they realized we were there for a quilt retreat with friends. Plenty of supplies and extra goodies. Great view and easy access to lake

Relaxing getaway

The house was clean and very well equipped from kitchen items to toiletries and a welcoming basket of goodies. We enjoyed the 2 living room spaces. The outdoor deck accommodated 6 adults easily which was great because that's where we spent a lot of time. It was easy to communicate with the hosts.

Good family getaway

Our family enjoyed our stay very much, the host were excellent and the house is well equipped. The indoors was very clean but the deck and outdoors furniture were not as clean as we would have liked. You cannot swim off the dock, but we managed to kayak out and swim.

Wonderful place to stay!

We loved our stay! The house had plenty of room for our three families including three kids. The house had everything we needed and so many extras to make our stay so fun and special! We loved taking the kayaks and canoes out and enjoyed the games in the garage. We took the kids to the public beach where the water is shallow and they had so much fun! We would recommend this house without hesitation!

Great property!

This house was cozy and private. The only “issue” was that our pontoon is large and docking was difficult with the other pontoon already there. The owners were quick to answer questions and accommodating. We will definitely use this property again!

Fun Family Vacation

Communication with the property owner was great throughout the process. The property met the expectations set by the pictures. Having access to Kayaks was particularly nice. While the cove may look constrained at the site of the dock, we had no issues getting our boat in and out of the cove throughout the week.

Mrs Denise and Mr Gary were very welcoming from the first start of communication. They made our arrival come with ease. They responded and communicated very well. The home is nice and had everything you could possibly think of. We spent a lot of time playing ping pong and shuffle board in the game room. We got a chance to make s’mores over the fire pit. My family wishes to return during the warmer months so we can actually venture out onto the lake. I hope we were as good of visitors as they were hosts!!

Wonderful time in Lake Gaston

We can't say enough great things about our trip to Lake Gaston and our stay at this home. Our two families had plenty of room to rest and also fellowship together. The kitchen was well stocked, and the owners even had snacks and smores for us upon arrival. It was easy to navigate in and out of the cove on our jet skis or just floating around in floats (we brought floats and the home had additional for us to use). The deck is so close to the dock and the backyard was perfect for yard games. Thank you again for allowing us to share your home for our trip!

Lake House

This is the third time that we have stayed at this home in the last four years. All of our children are spread out around the country (miltary) and it is hard to get everyone together at the same time. Plenty of room for our whole crew, great access for our rental pontoon boat, fenced side yard with swing set for the little ones. everything we need to relax and reconnect. Even the three five-year-old grandkids consider this the vacation place now. Thank you for allowing us to use your home.

September family trip

We spent five relaxing days with family at the house. The house was just perfect for what we needed. Plenty of space for everyone to relax and spread out, but close enough that we were able to still feel like we were spending time together. We spent a lot of time outside, played cornhole and went canoeing. It was wonderful. The kids loved their upstairs room. All of the rooms are good sized. I think the biggest thing we noticed was how well stocked the house was! The owners are very kind. We have all said if we come back to Gaston it will be at this house!! Thank you for offering your home on HomeAway. It's a gem!

Quiet and peaceful location

This was our 3rd year and 3rd location at Lake Gaston celebrating our annual family vacation.Denise and Gary not only provided a comfortable and clean home but they also provided excellent communication throughout our booking process, pre arrival and departure. Everything was in working order, the kitchen was fully stocked with all appliances, plenty of dishes, pots and pans and utensils. The grill was used multiple times. We enjoyed the extra fridge and freezer as well. Both sitting areas with large screen TVs were an asset as well. The location was conveniently located near the public boat launch, as well the grocery store was within about a 10 minute drive. We look forward to the opportunity to return next year.

Armstrong Cottage

The grill was very dirty & the grease trap must have been full, so when we tried to heat the grill, it caught on fire. We had to use a extinguisher to put it out. The cleaning lady adamantly claimed that she had cleaned it earlier but the tray under the grates was very dirty. However, the writeup on the cottage DID state that the grill is not part of the normal cleaning service. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay.

Family reconnection

This is the second time we stayed at this property the first time in June 2021 and June 2023 and both times it was great. Our children are spread out all over the country being in the military, so it is really hard to get everyone together at the same time. The house is wonderful and very comfortable, feels like home as soon as you walk in. It is right on the lake on a very quiet back cove for fishing, swimming and tying the rental boat up. The back deck is very relaxing to be able enjoy the water view especially in the early morning and evenings. It has a fenced side yard with a swing set the for the little one's and a fire pit for roasting marshmallows for their smores. It has plenty of life jackets in all sizes plus a canoe and three kayak's to paddle around the cove. It has all the cooking equipment for any meal. We plan to come back as soon as we can. When we think of going to the lake house this is where we think of.
