"This was probably one of the best stocked vocational rentals we have ever stayed in. Everything you need is provided. The place was so clean and was the perfect size for a family of 4 with two teenage boys. The location was amazing. It is just a half mile walk from the house to the bass harbor lighthouse and 25 minutes from the Acadia visitors center and the start of the park loop road."

"We had a wonderful stay at Fitter House! Clean home, large backyard for kids to play, plenty of space and beds for the 7 of us in the home. 6 minute drive to Bass Harbor Head lighthouse, 5 minute drive to Archie’s Lobster, 30 minute beautiful drive to Bar Harbor, and within several hikes close by. We saw multiple deer and turkey came through the yard and up close to the house. Super quiet and relaxing!"

"Perfect! The property is well laid out inside and outside. Check in was so easy. The cabin was spotless, decorated for style and function, and makes you feel comfortable being away. Truly a luxurious stay. Loved all the little touches, like the lotions, bathrobes, and cotton tips/pads. Great linens and towels. "My family met in Maine to celebrate my mother’s 70th birthday. We were 6 adults and found the house more than accommodating! I did not receive check-in instructions 24 hours before arrival, but Dwayne responded to me quickly and answered additional questions. The home had everything we needed and was very clean. We appreciated access to the washer and dryer as it allowed us to do a few loads of laundry instead of packing a lot of different clothing for hiking, going to dinner, etc. The...

"The place was clean, tidy and updated ans had everything we needed. We had 4 teenagers with us and there was enough space to spread out. Location is relatively close to everything, we would stay again!"

"We had a great stay here. Jen was extremely communicative and the property was just as listed. We had a comfortable stay here as a family of 3 (2 adults and 1 child). Short walk to SWH center and close drive to most places in the park we wanted to visit. We really enjoyed our stay."

"We had a lovely stay at the Gray Barn Carriage House. It was so quiet and peaceful! The house was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked, the bed was large and comfy, and there were plenty of reading nooks and sofas to relax on after a day on the hiking trails. We miss it already."

"We really appreciated having so much space for all the cousins to play in. We were near the Acadia activities (hikes, bikes, and kayaks) and liked being able to walk to town (Southwest Harbor) for lobsters on the waterfront (Beal's Lobster Peal)."
