"We we there for the 4th of July Celebration and it was wonderful. Staff was great and answered all our needs in a very professional, friendly manner. I highly recommend this hotel as it close to everything. They do have a valet service that is great. I would recommend that they do more to disclose the parking fees. They are a bit high. Also I think it would benefit both hotel and restaurant to have better communication when big events are on the horizon. I would definitely stay here again....

"The reviews do not do this property justice everything and I mean everything exceeded my expectations. From the safety of the area we walked 25 minutes to the national mall very safe very convenient perfect for sightseeing and access to restaurants,transportation and the many treasures our beautiful capitol has to offer. The staff from the valet,front desk,restaurant and everything exceeded our expectations. Your employees are working hard and doing a great job Marriot!"

"Conveniently located and quiet. But for the summer heat it may have been a delightful stay. The chiller system struggled daily to keep our room in the mid to high 70s. We did get prompt help to adjust the system as much as possible but to little avail. If your booking says it sleeps 3 then you will have to get a roll away bed for $25 a day. The staff was for the most part always friendly. The bars, restaurant and coffee spot in the lobby is a wonderful convenience."

"The property is very nice. The staff was not very good at greeting and to try and contact someone by phone was almost impossible. We were told we'd have a city facing room. It was ready, so they said, but it was not inspected yet. I saw the room number. We returned later soaking wet from a downpour. Employees in the lobby would not answer the door. Nobody answered the intercom call. When we finally got our room (different room than was originally going to be given to us, was courtyard facing....
