This hotel does not meet the standards of a 5-star property. Already upon arrival, no one came to open the taxi door or help with our luggage. At the bar, we constantly had to pick up our drinks ourselves, as staff rarely approached us and often seemed unfriendly. Service in general is very poor and the hotel feels understaffed.
Breakfast service was equally disappointing – for example, my husband was told to fetch a Coke at the bar instead of being served at the table, which is unacceptable for a hotel of this category. On the first day, our room was not cleaned at all, and only after asking in the evening did someone reluctantly take care of it. The bathrooms are superficially clean but clearly need a deep cleaning, especially in the tiles and corners. The hallways are extremely noisy, and even at the pool no one came to take drink orders.
The dinner buffet is another major weakness. Starters and desserts are acceptable, but the main courses are unimaginative, repetitive, and far from the advertised “Mediterranean” or “Italian” theme nights. There is nothing creative or special about the dishes, and overall the buffet feels very disappointing for a 5-star hotel.
The swimming pool area is also in very poor condition. The pool floor is extremely slippery and clearly not properly cleaned – we never saw a cleaning robot in use. Around the sunbeds they occasionally cleaned, but the pool itself remained dirty and unpleasant. There was no staff service at the pool or on the bea
