"We arrived at the VRBO after a bit of difficulty locating the house number as we were not aware of the house number and a letter after it…maybe 7E or something like that. We also thought once you entered the lockbox code the door would unlock. It took quite some time after a cousin drove up to advise there is a key inside the lockbox. Not easy to open. "I had the pleasure of staying in a beautifully renovated room for two nights in July. Everything is digital/online so check in was easy! Mark and Fiona reached out several times to check in. Parking onsite was helpful, too. The back entrance was not at all difficult to navigate and the door codes worked for me. It does feel a bit like entering the back door of a restaurant! I was there during the heat wave, and it stayed a generally comfortable temperature with the windows and blinds closed...

"Great location, fabulous views of the rolling hills and loch, together with a real sense of 'getting away from it all'. The downstairs of the cottage was cosy and adequately equipped. We particularly enjoyed the open fire that was set up ready to go, we only had to light it and there was plenty of spare wood to burn. A point for our own learning is that next time we will select somewhere that does not welcome pets as many parts of the upstairs did smell like dogs were there before us. So much so...
