"Says stay here on my trips to the area and have done every other week for the past 3 years. Secure parking, very clean, very friendly, excellent breakfast very reasonable price. Would not go anywhere else "

"The Old Rose and Crown is in a quiet location on the edge of the Lickey Hills surrounded by grass and trees. It is easy to reach from the M5. The room was well set out with comfortable bed, sofa and chairs, and en suite. The only downside was that no food is provided on site but there are a couple of pub / restaurants within 10 mins walk of the hotel. "Overall lovely hotel. We were unlucky with a room with a musky fishy smell which detracted from all the other lovely room features. I did notice some cobwebs in the room and a few patches of touch up white paint which didnt quite match which normally I would overlook. Staff lovely and room quiet. breakfast good and grounds wonderful. "

"It was close to the city centre necessitating only a short taxi ride for us. It was walkable but would take about 20 minutes rather than the 10 stated. There were lots of stairs in the property ( we were on the second floor) no lift in the property which was a downside with luggage. Overall very clean and comfortable and would stay again."

"My family stayed for 1 night while visiting Drayton Manor Theme Park. The hotel is set in lovely grounds with a good outside area by the bar with lots of tables. The staff at breakfast were amazing, really accomodating and brought me gluten free cornflakes and toast specially made. We visited on a particularly hot day and I was a bit worried about the lack of air conditioning. "A quality property with comfortable rooms and beds. Lovely surrounding gardens. Breakfast was rather chaotic due to numbers of guests attending at once. We were asked to wait in the bar area until a table was available, the buffet was rather diminished by then and not replenished. "

"Good location, local parking. Room upgraded for no additional cost. Facilities were great, for what I needed. Would recommend."

"A really nice quaint old building with countless amounts of wonderful antiques that you can look at throughout the stairwell and hallway the room was adequately appointed beds were very comfortable. Shower over the bath was great. The stuff were very welcoming and friendly. Unlikely to go back again if I need a location stay in the area I’d recommend it 100 hundred percent great value for money. "

"Was handy for location , bit unhappy when paying for breakfast there are choices on there . Didn’t get asked and had to have what was served ( fried egg.. I asked for poached eggs ) "

"Everything else was okay but they charged extra for parking. On expedia while booking it shows £6 for parking and they took £15 which is more than double the amount. I was so disappointed "
