Traditional Dales Cottage with stunning views,

  • Westbrook House es una casa de campo adosada ubicada en una tranquila aldea que no se conduce por Newbiggin en Bishopdale. Hay estacionamiento fuera de la carretera en la parte delantera de la propiedad.

    Data de 1742 y tiene muchas características tradicionales, como las vigas originales. Arriba hay dos dormitorios. El dormitorio principal tiene una cama extra grande con un colchón de espuma viscoelástica. Las características incluyen un techo abovedado con vigas a la vista. También hay un televisor y hermosas vistas tanto en la parte delantera como trasera de la propiedad.

    El segundo dormitorio tiene una cama doble hecha de roble macizo con dos mesitas de noche. La habitación también tiene vigas a la vista y hermosas vistas a la parte trasera de la propiedad.

    A lo largo de un pasillo hay un baño grande y espacioso con bañera / ducha y una gran unidad de lavamanos. También hay un calentador de pared si se requiere calor adicional.

    En la planta baja, hay un acogedor tercer dormitorio con una cama doble de latón.

    El salón principal tiene dos sofás con capacidad para 5 personas. También hay una estufa de combustible múltiple que puede quemar tanto carbón como troncos (todos los cuales están incluidos en el precio). También hay un gran televisor Full HD de 4k, una caja Humax FREESAT, un reproductor de DVD y una selección de DVD. Banda ancha y WiFi gratis también se proporcionan de forma gratuita. También hay hermosas vistas de la parte trasera de la propiedad con vistas al valle.

    Desde el salón pasas a la cocina-comedor. La mesa del comedor tiene capacidad para seis personas. La cocina en sí es completamente nueva y está equipada con todas las últimas comodidades. g horno doble, placa de inducción, microondas, tostadora doble, etc.

    Hay jardines en la parte delantera y trasera de la propiedad. El área del jardín delantero está en gran parte pavimentada y con tinas de flores y arbustos. También hay un peral junto a la casa misma. También recibe mucho sol por la mañana y temprano en la tarde, por lo que es un área agradable para sentarse y tomar una copa por la mañana e incluso conversar con los transeúntes. El jardín trasero es mucho más grande, con mucho espacio para pasear y un césped que se inclina hacia un campo. También hay una mesa de metal con seis sillas para sentarse, comer y disfrutar de la impresionante vista del Dale.

Really enjoyed the stay at Westbrook House. Stunning views and an excellent location. We found the accomodation as listed and had excellent communication with the owner, both before and whilst we were there. Recommend the holiday stay - 100%. Thankyou.

The house is in a beautiful, peaceful location and is immaculate inside with 3 very comfortable beds, everything we needed in the kitchen & a lovely bathroom. The owner Phil was very helpful both before we arrived and whilst we were there.

We had stayed in this property last summer, although just for 3 nights. This time we stayed for a full week and we were not disappointed. The cottage is very well appointed, with everything you could need for your stay and the garden and views are outstanding. Phil, our host, was as helpful as ever.

Lovely cottage, kitted out with everything you'd need. There is a pub in walking distance where you can get food. Shops are further away. Lovely views from the garden, great place for outdoor eating if the weather is kind! Would definitely consider staying here again.

This is an ideal cottage in so many ways - beautiful walks from the door (including a great pub, which is just a short stroll), quaint friendly village, very cosy comfortable home-away-from-home. Well equiped kitchen, comfy beds, stunning views from every window, (including the bath), big fluffy towels with plenty of hot water, cosy fireplace and a great host in Phil. What a package! Would stay here again in a heartbeat! Thanks for hosting us Phil.

A beautifully appointed cottage. Everything you need but not overly cluttered. Most amazing views of the Dales - a beautiful southwest facing terrace and garden at the rear with the most spectacular views both from the garden, two of the bedrooms and all living areas. Central heating but also easy to use wood burner to make it extra cosy (wood and kindling and lighters etc all provided).Fabulous new bathroom. Comfy beds and lovely linen and soft towels.Well resourced kitchen. Everything functioning and in tip top condition.Fabulous walks from the doorstep and pub within walking distance (0.2 miles - 5 mins). Phil is a great host - nothing too much trouble and quickly responds to messages.Well resourced village shop recently opened at West Witton too.

A lovely cottage in a great location to explore the Dales. Beautiful views from the back garden. Local pub is excellent for food,very welcoming. Description of the property was spot on. We would have no hesitation in recommending the property and would definitely stay again.

Had a really lovely week in Phil's cottage. Super comfortable with beautiful views, and some lovely walks (and pubs) from the front door. Would definitely stay again!

A really nice, well-appointed house with a lovely garden and great views. In a very quiet location, but only a few minutes stroll from the local pub, which serves excellent food, this house is a great place to come and relax and is also a good base for walking the dales. We loved it.

Fabulous views

We loved our stay in this quaint little cottage and the views from the rear of the property were just beautiful. The whole area is very pretty and this was a perfect location to venture out from. Phil and Lisa are very friendly and accommodating - highly recommended.
