I would definitely stay here again. Our host Sarah was wonderful, and the breakfast was possibly the nicest cooked breakfast we have had. The room was spacious and clean, with a lovely comfortable bed.

Relaxing stay

A perfect place to relax, very comfortable with a great breakfast to set us up for the day. Would definitely stay here again when planning walking in Yorkshire. Perfectly situated for less than an hour drive to all three peaks.

Fantastic B&B, great location with the best breakfast ever! Room large with big queen bed! Top of the square so all pubs and shops two minutes away! Sarah the host was very welcoming and helpful, can’t fault this accommodation

The Priory has a lovely atmosphere; tranquil, comfortable, and very welcoming. It retains a feeling of its period, whilst also having every modern luxury - gorgeous bed, fabulous bathroom. Excellent!

Amazing stay at The Priory. Sarah was such a lovely, friendly host, full of stories about the building and couldn’t do enough to ensure my stay was enjoyable. I stayed in room 5, which was a delight - the bathroom was gorgeous, with a roll top bath and waterfall shower. The bedroom decor was tasteful and it felt cosy. The breakfast was hearty and very tasty. I couldn’t have asked for more from my stay. I will definitely be returning if I’m in the area again.

The perfect place to stay in the Yorkshire Dales.

Great host in Sarah with nothing too much trouble. Top cooked breakfast each day. Immaculate bathroom and bedroom. Perfect location for exploring the Yorkshire Dales. Only minor issue was hit and miss at times with wifi but that can be fixed by moving to the parlour.

Firstly, Sarah was a fantastic host & helped me out of an embarrassing & stressful situation going above & beyond. Can’t thank her enough The room we stayed in was stunning, the bed was so comfortable it was a hardship to get up in the morning but Sarah’s breakfasts are not to be missed. Bathroom was enormous & the stand alone bath was perfect for a romantic getaway. Everywhere was spotless & clean & we wanted for nothing. A fantastic location & great weekend break. We will definitely be staying again. Thanks Sarah for a lovely weekend

Lovely short stay with my husband and daughter. The room was amazing with very large comfortable bed. Everything you could possibly need was provided - even a fridge in the breakfast room for whatever you need to keep chilled. Breakfast was delicious with lots of choice and plenty of tea and coffee. Middleham and the surrounding area is beautiful with lots to see and do. Sarah and Chris are great hosts, very welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. Thank you for a lovely break.

Perfect B&B experience

The Priory is run by a coupe that really put their heart and soul in it. The lovely hosts provide a warm and welcoming environment, with an eye to detail that made the stay comfortable and delightful. The rooms are perfectly appointed, comfortable beds and nice amenities. The breakfast is delicious and served with a smile.

No Better Place - Middle of Middleham...lovely

Fantastic find in Middleham with four lovely large rooms and a self catering flat are available under attentive service of Chris and Sarah. They couldn’t be nicer. We stayed two nights in real luxury B&B surroundings with good dinners in nearby Leyburn restaurants. All round lovely tasteful rooms, details, breakfasts and hosting. Very dog friendly too. Watch the racehorse industry go through its paces too as well as explore Wensleydale and the surrounds.

elaxed in Middleham

Could not fault it in any way Sarah and Chris could not have been more accomadating, breakfast were the best we have had at any previous hotels or B&Bs, the room was very clean with everything you would need, no regimented times that you had to be down for breakfast, The drawing room which overlooked the main street was just a nice place to sit by the wood burner and relax. We will be going bac.

1 nights stay for wedding anniversary

Stunning accommodation, extremely comfortable and very relaxed. We would definitely return. Owners friendly and accommodating. Breckfast superb, both the vegetarian and full english. As we only stayed the one night we didn't get chance to make use of the lounge, but its a fabulous room and would be perfect for relaxing in an evening, especially if there was a group of you. The only tough choice coming back would be what room to book. Great location.
