Only minutes away from the State Capital, Castle & Key, Buffalo Trace, KY Bourbon Trail and KSU. For all history lovers, this home is just seconds away from the Frankfort Cemetery where you will find many Kentucky Legends, such as Daniel Boone.

Located in the Heart of Frankfort. The Bourbon Drop is surrounded by history. The aerial shots showcase the proximity of this rental to the Kentucky River, State Capital, Downtown Frankfort, and Kentucky Military History Museum.

Parking:

Guests will have access to only one parking spot at this unit. Parking will be in the rear of the house, where guest will travel down a few steps to the back door of this unit.

Where Bourbon and Politics run free, is where you will find The Bourbon Drop. This unit features vinyl plank floors and wireless internet. The left hand side of this duplex, Bourbon Drop has two cozy bedrooms, one featuring a queen bed and the second features a full. Bourbon on the Hill also offers guests a full kitchen, washer & dryer, living room views to Downtown Frankfort, and just a short commute to live like a local and experience all of Kentucky's finest. An iron and ironing board come with this unit for all of those important events and photos. Residents will enjoy heat and air conditioning during their stay. Your Booking does not include the 4% local Frankfort Occupancy and Transit Tax. This will be sent as an additional request upon approval of booking. While this property is pet friendly, all guests must have their pets pre- approved and pet fees may apply. We arrived early evening. Had a bit of a challenge obtaining rental access information via host. Issue was promptly resolved with call VRBO customer service. Enjoyed our stay and downtown Frankfort was lovely.

This location is perfect for everything in Frankfort! Communication was easy. The VRBO was clean, comfy, and would highly recommend!

The place was decorated nicely and clean. Small but was great. Now my criticism 1 the steps to get into and out of the house were difficult for us in our late 60s and 70s. No real comfortable outside and the bathtub was slick. The 24 hour notice of the information about the stay was not prompt. The place was close to so much and we had a wonderful time..

Nice house in a central location. We didn’t have to go far to hit distilleries or good food. We enjoyed a short visit but it was jam packed with enjoyment. We enjoyed Buffalo, Castle and Key and the amazing Woodford. Thanks!

Thank you for the great hospitality. We hit a ton of distillery's and liquor stores chasing bourbon. It was my best friends 50th and we had a blast.

Cute little place. Super clean and really nice thoughtful amenities (extra pillows, throws on the bed, nice towels, laundry detergent). Nicely decorated to fit the area theme too! Conveniently located to borboun trail locations, sightseeing, and dining. Would recommend definitely and would stay again. One word of caution , if you have any mobility issues the shower could be a disadvantage as it is slightly elelvated and the tub covering can be slick. Thanks for sharing your place!

The property is pretty delapodated on the outside could use some major repairs. The walkway/stairway from the parking area is very rough and hard to navigate. The biggest issue was that we arrived at 5pm(check-in time was 3pm) to find the door code did not work and the cleaner was still there cleaning. Happy they were cleaning the property however still being there 2 hours after the check-in time was not ideal after driving 13 hours. The interior was as expected and the kitchen had your basic needs.

I doubt this review will ever go anywhere, since the listing had been removed; but, I also doubt the unit was cleaned before we checked in. There were wet towels in the bathtub, and a bag of trash sitting in the kitchen. my guess is the sheets probably weren’t changed either. I consider this the bare minimum, so..super disappointing.

It was very easy to reserve and check-in. The house was very clean and had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. The allley way to the parking spot is very narrow. I had trouble getting out of my parking spot. the people in the other house was parked on one side and there was a car parked behind them in the alley. I had to room to back out.

We booked and fully paid for this unit to find someone else in our unit upon arrival, they booked through another rental provider. The owner has failed to give us our money back and has been stringing us along without a solution to a full credit. They basically ruined our vacation. Be careful booking this unit.

We had a great time! Check in was easy, was great place stay for a couple nights. Have a few bars/ restaurants in walking distance. Parking is very tight if you have a larger vehicle . I would stay here again.

Beautiful home and quiet area. View over city was pretty. Was there over spring break for a short visit for my daughter to visit UK campus. Very clean home and would come back to visit in the future😊
