Newly Renovated 3BR, 2BA, pet friendly, with 3 kayaks, boat ramp nearby

The charming lake house is the perfect place for you and your friends to relax and take in all of the serene beauty of High Rock Lake. Enjoy your casual lake living by spending your time fishing, swimming, tubing, kayaking or boating while taking in the areas amazing wildlife. You can even bring your own boat, use our neighbor boat ramp while enjoying the use of our dock. At the end of the day, start the charcoal grill (charcoal not provided), enjoy dinner and drinks with a beautiful sunset. Although you are in an established lake neighborhood, when you turn into our place you leave the hustle and bustle of the busy world behind and enjoy the peace and quiet of the great outdoors. Our private fenced in backyard is perfect for a small to medium sized dog.

The house consists of a master bedroom (King bed) with an attached full bathroom, a kitchen, dining area with a beautiful stone fireplace and a great room with a large sectional L-shaped couch on the bottom floor. On the second floor, there is one large bedroom (Queen and Twin) with a sliding glass door where you can walk out onto the upper deck. The sliding glass door has black out curtains to keep out the light and heat on warm days. There is also a spacious loft used as a bedroom (Queen and Twin). Another full bathroom and laundry room are also located upstairs. This spacious retreat would be great for one or two families with about 1600 sq. ft. of livable space.

The glass doors from the great room leads onto a covered patio where you can sit and enjoy the view of the lake while sipping on your morning coffee or enjoying your breakfast. We have a Keurig and coffee pot. If you’d like, you can walk down closer to the water and enjoy the views from the gazebo, the stone patio or the dock. The stone patio is a popular place on those colder days because of the fire pit. Bring your own firewood for a fire and roast some hot dogs or make s'mores with the use of our skewers. On warmer days the canopy of trees provides shade on the patio that makes it great for picnicking. In the summer we grow lots mint next to our gate so feel free to bring ingredients to make mojitos or add some to your iced tea or favorite recipe.

Kitchen was great and fully equipped for what we needed. Pet friendly as listed. Bed was comfortable. Neighborhood was quiet. We lucked up and had a 75 degree day in December so we could all be outside. Host was very responsive.

Such a well appointed cabin between the extra linens, plentiful dishes and cutlery, pans, cooking oils, spices etc. Decor was beautiful and everything about the layout and decor brought about a sense of relaxation and peace. Beautiful outdoor sitting areas, as well. My 3y.o. son called it our adventure cabin. Instructions for check in and out were straightforward.

My niece and I had a great time at this lovely lake house! it was roomy, fully stocked, and we had our own private floors, with her having a balcony view of the lake. The neighborhood was very quiet, even though there are many houses nearby. It was a quick 10-minute drive to Aldi.I will definitely book here again in the future!

My sisters and I enjoyed this wonderful place so much. It is decorated so beautifully and the accomodations were so clean and comfortable and perfect for our get together. The outside was so relaxing as we enjoyed the reflections of the fall leaf colors on the tranquil lake and were amused by the squirrels chasing each other up and down the trees. It is evident that the hosts put a lot of effort in the place and care about their guests and I thank them so much for sharing their fantastic place with us.

We really enjoyed our stay. We were a family of 6. The house was clean. There was plenty of room inside and out side. We caught plenty of nice size cat fish and crappies. The only down fall was the 2nd day there the water looked stale & murky but cleared up the next day. So we did get to enjoy the lake.

Charming Lake House

This was our 4th trip over the years to this beautiful newly renovated lake house and it never disappoints. The Mossharts have thought of everything to make your stay a pleasant one. The yard is beautiful with plenty of space to spread out if you have several people with you. The dock is shaded part of the day to enjoy fishing. The location is great with access to groceries, shopping and downtown Lexington. Plenty of places to eat out; but if you like to cook the kitchen has everything you need to fix a light snack or a full meal. You will enjoy your stay here.

The perfect stay

Our family celebrated Thanksgiving at this wonderful house . The kitchen was stocked with everything we could have asked for. The beds were amazing . We had a lovely experience!
