  • Lewisia Lodge es una hermosa y acogedora casa (2600 pies cuadrados) diseñada por un arquitecto local situada en 12 acres de una de las piezas más hermosas de Methow Valley Riverfront. La propiedad está frente al río .... y esta sección del río incluye uno de los mejores pozas y pesca en cualquier lugar de la zona. La casa es ideal para familias, pequeñas reuniones íntimas de amigos o grupos grandes. También hemos alojado varias bodas en la propiedad. La casa tiene capacidad para 12, (14 si se cuenta el porche para dormir al aire libre - que por cierto, es fabuloso), y el diseño abierto es perfecto para un montón de gente para relajarse cómodamente. El loft de arriba tiene capacidad para 10 personas cómodamente. Se divide en 2 grandes secciones semi-privadas. En cada sección, hay una cama de matrimonio y 2 dobles en un lado y 3 dobles en el otro. En la propiedad, con vistas al hoyo de la natación y la pesca, hay un mirador (con una pequeña cocina y una cama tamaño queen) y una terraza construida sobre el río para descansar, entretenerse y disfrutar de cócteles. Justo debajo de la glorieta es un lugar perfecto para el tubo del río. Tenemos algunas cámaras de aire en el granero. La casa está rodeada por todas partes por las cubiertas y en frente de la casa, justo en el río, es un jardín enorme, muy bien cortado para jugar a juegos como el voleibol, croquet y fútbol. (La casa está completamente equipada con juegos para el aire libre y juegos de mesa y películas para acogedoras noches de invierno.) Está lleno de lugares agradables (2 grandes asientos en las ventanas) a acogedor para arriba en, y el punto focal de la sala de estar es un gran, hermosa chimenea de piedra. La casa está completamente equipada con madera y leña. En el invierno, la zona está cubierta de nieve abundante y se puede esquiar o raquetas de nieve justo fuera de su puerta principal. Este es uno de los lugares con más encanto que tendrá que quedarse. Está diseñado para la paz y la serenidad, y las vistas desde la casa son espectaculares.

Unique, large but cozy cabin with lots of reasons to just to stay in and enjoy the property yet nicely situated right between Twisp and Windthrop. The best feature in my mind was the screened in porch with a bed. Well appointed and comfortable. A great place for families.

We can't say enough good things about our time at this beautiful property in Winthrop. Everything about it was perfect: the rooms, the property, the river, the hosts, the town, everything. We loved it so much that we're already planning our next stay. During our week-long stay, we hosted my daughter's small wedding with family and friends. There were 30 of us at the event; it was comfortable without being crowded, intimate, fun, and everything was simply perfect.

Anniversary stay

We stayed here for our 30th anniversary. We couldn't have ask for a better place to stay. Quite and secluded but close enough to town. We really enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful house and property

Waking up to the sound of water and birds is my ideal vacation. Loved our stay and would definitely stay again. Jill is an amazing host also!

Absolutely LOVED this spot! Plenty of room in the house, very clean and organized, and the property and access to the river was just AMAZING! Highly recommended, and Jill was wonderful to work with and an excellent host!

Perfect for friends that are like family

The property and home and beautiful and tastefully decorated. The open upstairs is fantastic for kids and friends that are like family. Couldnt have wanted anything more.

Lovely, peaceful stay in the snowy Methow Valley

Took several days at the lodge to enjoy the snow season. Home was the perfect base camp for quiet mornings, daytime excursions, and cozy evenings.As others have mentioned, upstairs sleeping area is loft style and open because of the layout - best for one or two families and those comfortable with some privacy but not many separate bedrooms. Both bathrooms are on main floor. Would certainly hope to stay again, and very curious what the warmer months would hold, as the home has many outdoor spaces.

We love this house!!!

We had a really amazing month stay here. Jill is a fantastic house, super responsive and helpful. The house feels like home - it is a beautiful design and just FEELS good, like some houses feel cozy and relaxing and we just loved being here and coming back to the house each day after skiing and hiking and exploring. The property is AMAZING on the river - our son loved playing at the beach and our dogs loved the big property. Beds are all comfortable and the house has everything you need. The BEST cozy couch in the tv room. Close to Winthrop and to many of the cross country trails in the Methow. Highly recommended!

Christmas in Winthrop

Thank you Jill for providing the perfect place for our family Christmas in Winthrop! Our family was so happy to be in snow and have it feel like a "real" Christmas. Allowing us to use your family tree was so very thoughtful.Your home is lovely and well stocked for a large group or family. We appreciated all the extras in the kitchen, including all the spices, oils, and saran wrap. It made things very easy to cook and feel at home. Your home is as described with lots of places to sleep and cozy blankets to keep warm. Thank you again and we'll be back again next year!

A Wonderful and Memorable Stay

The cabin was clean and well stocked. Two families stayed comfortably and had an amazing time. We enjoyed the fire, the board games, the comfortable beds, and the fully stocked kitchen. Afternoons involved leisurely walks down the river (there are snowshoes if the snow is soft) and time by the fire. It was easy to cook and eat big meals in the kitchen/dining room area. Also, the cabin is perfectly placed between Twisp and Winthrop for easy access to Loup Loup ski bowl for downhill skiing and tubing and to the Methow Trail system for cross county skiing. The host gave us easy access directions and was very responsive. Good times had by all!

Great weekend!!

Everything was wonderful in the house! Such a beautiful location and setting. The inside was clean and nice. It was a bit cold upon arrival, but it warmed up quickly after we started a lovely fire. We were a little disappointed because it had snowed before we arrived and the driveway was only halfway plowed and there was no pathway to the front door. I tried texting the owner (she said that was the best way to contact her) to see if they had a shovel somewhere that we could use to clear a path to the door and she never responded. We made it work by putting on our snow shoes and packing down a pathway, but it was just a bit disappointing as a lot of our group did not have the right shoes on. Overall however, it was wonderful and we had a fantastic weekend enjoying each other, and the outdoors!!

Peaceful Home by River

Luxury Glamping country home on the river on 10 acres..Very private with beautiful walks on property and river. Home has lots of natural wood through with character and charm. Kitchen is very well equipped . Pictures are accurate. Stayed middle June and Fly fished by home for 2 days with drys, nymphs and streamers on 1/4 mile with no neighbors, didn't catch anything on property but had a little bit better luck with a guided 1/2 day float trip 15 minutes drive from property catching 1 cutt throat and 1 white fish around 10-13 inches. The best fisherman on the lake was.a bald.eagle.that caught a 20 inch rainbow 20 yards infron of our river raft,.cool scene. Went up to sun mountain lodge for early dinner, drinks and had amazing views of the cascades. Highly recommended property for privacy, good times with family and eye candy views. Tamper your expectations of high count fishing and go for the scenery and family not blue ribbon trout fishing expectations.

Comfortable and accommodating setting

For are group it was so nice having the many different areas where we could either visit play games or watch something. The peaceful setting is absolutely the incredibly relaxing. There wasn’t on thing that any of the group could come up with that wasn’t there. Thank you for a wonderful time.

Peaceful ski retreat

Jill’s house is a great spot from which to explore the Methow. We loved the cozy movie room and walking along the river every morning. It’s a peaceful and quiet location. Jill was incredibly responsive and helpful. We had some issues with the well water during our stay but Jill was quick to problem solve. Overall it was a great stay.
