"Staff was nice, fairly clean"

"The Beds were very comfortable. The hotel is under construction and our room had not been cleaned well since they did work in it. The floors were dirty. The bathroom had drywall powder all over the floor and door handled The shower had dirty workman prints all over them The breakfast was subpar The best part was the warm cinnamon rolls. Our room had good airconditioning."

"When this hotel was first built it was awesome. It's really noticeable how dated, dirty, various odors lurking throughout. Problem number 1, desk, nor the site mentioned anything about renovations. Not to mention giving us a room right next door? Seriously? After we moved a week's stay worth of luggage, we had to move. Problem with room number 2 was no vent, no garbage disposal, and to finish me off. The shelf in the closet had dust all over it, of course I didn't see that until going to wear...

"At no point did I think "this place is gross"; the shower was fairly warm; most of the lights worked; the bed was totally decent. That's a 5 star experience at this price point"

"Everything was great. It did seem like the one gentleman was just doing enough to get through the day. Not angry but no cheer or warm greeting at all. Karen was very happy which was nice. Bed was comfy room was clean bathroom was clean. Food was alright. I got chicken wings and the Parmesan fries. It seemed like they were chucked in the box. Everything was mixed together. This was my second stay and I will probably come back if I need to come to STL again. "
