"We had a wonderful time at the Inn. The staff was exceptionally warm, friendly and helpful. The location was excellent and peaceful, and the properly was well maintained. Has now become my go to spot in seaside. I cant recommend enough."

"Great stay! We stayed 2 nights and it was very nice. Clean hotel, nice staff, and decent breakfast included in the room rate. We didn’t use the pool area. The gym could use a bit of help. There wasn’t much to it . They need to add some weight machines and more modern equipment. Other than that the stay was a good base if you want to go to Astoria or Cannon beach."

"The place is slightly run down and dingey, but the pool was fun, it stays open until 10 which is a huge plus. They have a cute free DVD checkout at the front desk and warm fresh cookies every day at 6pm. The staff was very friendly and very accommodating. Would stay again."

"Everything was great. Though the pictures of the view in the add on Expedia were deceiving. Front facing Ocean does not mean there is a view or the ocean and the photos describing the room features showed a view of the ocean, and we did not get a view, we got a glimpse of the ocean in about 10% of the the view. The rest was a view of shrubs. Still enjoyed the visit just disappointed with the actual view."

"The location on the river was nice but we felt it was overpriced after we saw it. Our room was very outdated and dark inside. The carpet was not clean and lots of visible dirt in the corners. The internet and cable was out for the entire evening and there was no compensation for this. Neighboring businesses had internet so it was localized. We felt we paid too much for this hotel."

"Even though we did not have an oceanfront room the property was the best proximity to the beach and sunset views. The fire pit area, and the lawn chairs facing oceanfront were great! The room was clean, the jacuzzi tub and amenities such as robes were a great plus! Will definitely stay again for longer!"

The lack of on-site Four Winds staff is a challenge for a variety of reasons, but going to a second location and dealing with a rude clerk makes it worse. "The property was under construction where people where painting and all prep literally outside our door and had to stop working to move out of our doorway whenever we would leave. I had to navigate me toddler and kids down the walkway that had wet paint and sharp building materials and toxic fumes. It was terrible. The started working right outside our window at 9am—waking everyone up."

"Stayed for 3 nights, for the price of over $300 a night I would typically expect a functioning mini fridge, a balcony of some sort or even a pool / jacuzzi! We got a “partial ocean view” meaning stand in a specific spot to see the ocean only. I wouldn’t stay here again honestly. I do want to note we did call about the mini fridge and didn’t have a need for it to be fixed, I called in fear we’d get charged for a non operational fridge"
