"Upon arrival, although I thought I was getting a handicap accessible room, it wasn’t an accessible shower however they were able to accommodate me and at least give me a portable shower bench. There were fans lining the hallway on either side. I’m not sure what happened, but fortunately I was able to still get to the room in the wheelchair. "The hotel was dated but has been renovated. Bathroom was updated, new shower, basin but toilet was very low. Room was fine and bed very comfortable. Very quiet. Hallway did smell of cigarette smoke."

"We stayed a week there and we didn’t have no problems with homeless or junkies like it was said in the other reviews but you do get what you paid for. Floor was dirty, I had to ask the housekeeper for a broom and Mop to pick up the dust and hairs that were on the floor, there were holes on the walls and toilet was so disgusting we didn’t use it! Location is ok not far from downtown like a 5 min drive or less."

"I am super harsh when it comes to my hotels, but this one is one was one of the best i’ve ever stayed at. it is so clean, modern, and unique! great shower products (sald and stone) and also a mini fridge STACKED with treats. i am a travel agent, so ive seen some pretty nice hotels. you cant be the price, location, amenities, and service."

"Communication great, received messages about how to get in for my stay. Room clean tidy and had everything I needed for my stay. Was very grateful for the water when I arrived and appreciated the snacks that were left. Washing machine tumble dryer and ice machine available in out building. Lovely big tv and loved being able to play records when I arrived and getting packed to leave. Great stay!"

"Spacious! Our "room" had a kitchen and huge living room. Loved the parking garage under the building, super safe and secure. We enjoyed our stay!"

"The location is convenient and provides beautiful views of the Mississippi River. It is an ideal place to stay as it provides nearby dining and shopping. The entire staff are kind and very helpful. The rooms are well maintained. We look forward to returning to this property when visiting Memphis. ( this was our fourth stay here.) Thank you again, all River Inn staff!"

"The entire hotel was a top flight experience in understated luxury and quiet elegance - I loved how consistently and beautifully the hotel has built its brand around the elegant ducks!! Even the carpet harkens to the beautiful duck egg blue/green colors and our room was a haven and oasis in the Memphis heat. Will be back, and will definitely stay at the Peabody!"

"The room floors were absolutely filthy. When stepping into the shower the water was black. Also, housekeeping came and did not put the pillows back on the bed. They also took our towels and floor mats and did not replace them so we had to call for replacements after returning to the property at 10:30pm. The people at the hotel were excellent though. The best employee for the hotel, in our experience, was Michael the security guy. He is a peach!!"
