"This was a lovely little room to stay in. The host was accommodating and easy to communicate with. The rules were clear and easy to follow. It was very clean and tidy. I was a bit thrown by the size. When they say one bedroom they mean a one bed room. Walking path only. Smaller than a very small hotel room. Also there is no dryer, only a washer. It was me and my son so it felt a little tight but had I come with my partner it would have been cozy. These are not complaints just clarifications for...

Furniture was a bit uncomfortable. Bed was very squeaky. Overall adequate for its purposes and met expectations. Wifi details provided were incorrect, but its on the hub so managed. TV was only usable with youtube as its the only service available that didn't require signing in. No live digital channels available. ...

"Hosts couldn't do enough for us..keot us safe by telling us how to travel and cheapest way..we travelled to Glasgow. They were at the end of the phone if needed..they even picked us up shopping to save us carrying. We had a nice relaxing holiday..would definitely do it again"

"We stayed at this cottage for 12 days. It was beautiful and quiet. Located on a farm the scenery was breathtaking. Cottage was very clean and Lynda was so easy to communicate with and so kind. Would stay there again "

"Warm and cozy sleeping with the shutters and curtains drawn. Respect the house, switch on the pump if you light the fire, and yes I loved the wood smoke smells, it is mostly round the fire, if the fire is only embers you can switch off the pump, it's circulating the hot water from the fire, I was able to see local interests and the wonderful fresh air, excellent countryside. The ruin of Carmicheal House makes me wonder at its one time beauty, and it's just a short walk to from the cottage,...

"We lovd the beautiful countryside and the rural walks. Close to charming little towns and we also hiked the historic Clyde waterfalls. Our hosts were very lovely and accommodating, wish we could have gotten to know them more. Better than their humble photos portray."
