Independent house overlooking Lake Maggiore. 10 minutes from the Borromean islands and from Stresa. 5 minutes from the beaches. very comfortable house with very large garden.
2 bedrooms, double living room, dining area overlooking the lake. 3 bathrooms.

FURTHER INFORMATION :

Detached villa with a large private garden and an above-ground swimming pool.
The garden has comfortable sun loungers for comfortable and quiet relaxation.

We are very sorry not to be able to accommodate guests with motor disabilities: the presence of stairs and the lack unfortunately does not allow it.

Small pets allowed.

The expenses related to the consumption of gas for heating the accommodation are not included in the rental price and are paid directly by the guest at the time of check out, based on the consumption actually incurred.

The rent does not include the tourist tax, relating to the Municipality of Lesa, is equal to € 1 per night per person. Children under the age of 6 are exempt from paying the tax. The tourist tax is paid directly by the guest at the time of check out.

Laura and Davide’s home in the peaceful village of Calogna nestled in the hills overlooking Lake Maggiore is truly fabulous. If you’re looking for a property where you are able to step off the treadmill of daily life, rest and recharge, then this house is definitely the one for you.Vrbo’s description and pictures of Casa Gardenghi are accurate but it is even better in reality.This beautiful home lacked nothing, tastefully decorated, comfortable furnishings, large peaceful garden and a ‘dipping pool’ ideal for cooling off on hot days. The views of the lake are stunning from the terrace, balcony, lounge and dining room picture window.If you are lucky enough to stay here, don’t miss the treat of rising early one morning to catch the sunrise over the mountains on the eastern shore of the lake.Thank you Laura and Davide for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home and for the warm welcome on our arrival.We would love to return and stay longer next time.

Über einen vermeintlichen und nicht nachweisbaren Schaden (trat laut Bewertungen schon einmal auf). Zudem videoüberwacht, was nicht angegeben wird. Und auch mit dem Auto mindestens zehn Minuten vom See entfernt. An sich hübsches Haus.

Ruhiger Aufenthalt in Calogna

In Summe angenehmer Aufenthalt. Die Räumlichkeiten sind großzügig. Die Lage in dem kleinen Dorf Calogna ist sehr ruhig. Das Haus ist ca. 7 Fahrminuten von Lesa am Lago Maggiore entfernt (bei ruhiger Fahrt). Die Bilder geben einen guten Eindruck vom Objekt. Beim Objekt handelt es sich um den größeren Teil eines Doppelhauses (die akustische Trennung ist allerdings nicht sehr gut) mit eigenem, großen Garten zur Bergseite. Parkplätze sind in der Nähe vorhanden. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit. In der wärmeren Jahreszeit ist der Außenbereich sicher sehr schön nutzbar, gerade auch für Familien mit Kinder.

Wundervoll

Wir haben es sehr genossen. David und Laura haben sich wunderbar um uns gekümmert. Das Haus war sauber und wie auf den Bildern. Da wir spät ankamen hatte Laura uns sogar noch etwas zum Essen besorgt. Bei allen Dragen bekamen wir auch während des Aufenthaltes schnell Antwort. Etwas mehr Nesteck und Teller/ Tassen wären schön, damit man nicht so oft spülen müsste. Sonst haben wir nichts vermisst. Nach Lésa ca. 15 Minuten über eine kurvige Straße, nach Stresa etwa 25. Das Haus liegt abgelegen in einem typischen Dorf. Sehr schön italienisch mit einer mini Bar und herzlichen Menschen. Auch unser Hund war sehr willkommen - der Garten groß und eingezäunt. Sehr entspannt für Hund und Mensch. Wir sagen Danke. Ilona und Familie

perfektes Haus mit Blick auf den Lago

Wir hatten als Familie einen tollen Aufenthalt in dem charmanten und stilvollen Haus von Laura & Davide. Neben einem fantastischen Ausblick auf den Lago bietet es alles, was man für einen entspannten Urlaub braucht. Es liegt in dem kleinen Ort Calogne, entfernt vom Tourismus. Wer Ruhe sucht, ist hier richtig. Gleichzeitig konnten sich unsere Kinder im Pool oder am Kicker austoben. Alle Ausflüge konnten von hier aus gut erreicht werden. Die Kommunikation mit Laura und Davide war sehr nett und freundschaftlich. Vielen Dank an Laura & Davide für unseren tollen urlaub!

Urlaub 14.6.-28.6.2024

Liebe Laura, lieber Davide, wir haben uns in dem geschmackvoll eingerichteten, sauberen Haus sehr wohl gefühlt. Es hat an nichts gefehlt. Ich hätte mir allerdings ein paar Weingläser gewünscht. Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Blick auf den See. Der große komplett eingezäunte Garten war ein Paradies für unsere beiden Tibetterrier. Die Kommunikation mit euch war unkompliziert. Die Küstenorte Stresa und Arona sind mit dem Auto in ca. 20 Min. erreichbar. Auch Orta San Giulio ist einen Ausflug wert. Ein Trip zu den Borromäischen Inseln ist mit Hund allerdings nicht möglich. Wir waren 1 Woche im Mai da. Das Wetter war zwar etwas launisch aber wir haben den Urlaub und die Ausflüge genossen. Die Vermieter, Laura und Davide, sind sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Uns hat es dort sehr gut gefallen.

Familienurlaub

Das Haus ist gemütlich und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Wir wurden sehr freundlich von der Vermieterin begrüßt. Das Haus liegt oberhalb vom Lago Maggiore in einem sehr kleinen Dorf. Fussläufig einzukaufen oder Essen zu gehen ist nicht möglich. Mit dem Auto kann man aber Lesa (15 Minuten) und Stresa ( 30 Minuten) gut erreichen. Die Ausstattung des Hauses ist gut. Etwas mehr Besteck wäre schön, Mückenschutz an den Fenstern wäre toll gewesen. Unschön ist, dass der angepriesene Parkplatz nicht am Haus bzw. auf dem Grundstück gelegen ist. Es gibt einen kleinen öffentlichen Parkplatz (der meistens voll war) und einen privaten Parkplatz auf einer kleinen Obstwiese 300 m entfernt vom Haus. Im Sommer bei 30 Grad nicht gerade schön. Die Poolpumpe war leider nicht gereinigt, sodass diese während unseres Aufenthalts ausgefallen ist, leider konnte man den Pool 2 Tage dadurch nicht benutzen. Die Vermieterin hatte sich nach Bemängelung aber darum gekümmert. Einen faden Nachgeschmack gab es leider, nachdem uns nach unserer Rückkehr ein Schaden berechnet wurde, den wir nicht verursacht haben. Die bis dahin sehr gute Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin brach dann leider auch ab, sodass dies nicht miteinander geklärt werden konnte. Schade, so eine Vorgehensweise ist unschön. Unseren Urlaub haben wir trotzdem als schön empfunden.

Erholsamer Urlaub

Es war sehr toll! Wir haben uns richtig gut erholt. Der Garten, das Haus auch das Spielzeug vor Ort/Pool hat unserer Tochter richtig gut gefallen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Es war alles sehr sauber! Vielleicht kommen wir bald wieder :-) Auch der Beach war einfach nur herrlich, wir hatten eine schöne Zeit in Italien 😊☀️

Wonderful

This lovely house truly lives up to it's title. The views are beautiful and never the same as the light changes throughout the day. We watched amazing thunderstorms break over the lake and the sun rise through the mist. The village location is quiet and authentic and very pretty . We felt very warmly welcomed by our hosts Davide and Laura. Everything was explained to us by Davide when we arrived and Laura was easily contacted and so helpful. The house itself is very nice, lovely interior , spotlessly clean and felt like a home rather than a holiday apartment. The beds were particularly comfortable. A pool in the beautiful garden was well used by our family as was the Bbq . Our arrival , after a long journey, was made so much easier by a generous basket of food . So much appreciated. We had a wonderful holiday in this beautiful place and we would recommend Davides and Laura's place to anyone looking for a comfortable and stylish house in a stunning location.

A nice holiday home!

We had a pleasant stay in Lesa. The house is spacious and comfortable. Well-equipped kitchen, nice garden. The house is on a hillside and from the living room/dining area and from the terrace you have an unimaginably beautiful view of Lake Maggiore and the surrounding area. There are lots of possibilities for interesting excursions. The hosts are very friendly. On our arrival, we were welcomed by host Davide. Among other things, hostess Laura provided us with useful tips for our trip to Milan. A great place to recharge the batteries!

wunderschönes Ambiente

Besser als Gastgeber kann man sich nicht vorstellen. Laura hat sich in jeder Situation um uns gekümmert. Selbst einen Termin beim Tierarzt hat sie für unseren Hund, der willkommen war, organisiert. Das Haus und der Garten sind ein Traum. Sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und alles und mehr was man braucht ist vorhanden. Wir sind sehr dankbar, dass wir unseren Urlaub dort verbringen durften. Immer wieder gerne.

Super house close to Stresa & Lake Garda

Very neat house and super hosts. We are a family of 2 parents + 3 small kids (5,6 and 8 years-old). and the house was perfect for a one-week stay in the region. Very big garden and the kids used it to improve their badminton skills :-) Close to the lake, beach and located in the south of Stresa - meaning the trip to visit Milano was also not too long. Laura and her husband were kind enough to give us some tips on what places to visit, and also the best food places to go to :-) Would definitely recommend to anyone willing to visit the region.

Urlaub pur

Das Haus ist liebevoll eingerichtet,gut gepflegt und sehr wohnlich. Es eignet sich gut für Familien. Wenn man mit 4 Erwachsenen dort wohnt,müssen 2 Erwachsene in einem Kinderzimmer übernachten. Das Haus ist umgeben von einem großen schönen Garten ,mit einem Gemüsegarten,an dem man sich bedienen darf. Die Vermieter sind sehr sehr nett und unkompliziert,sie sind sehr bemüht,einem einen schönen Aufenthalt zu ermöglichen. Sie haben sogar einige Lebensmittel für den ersten Abend und das Frühstück eingekauft. (Vielen Dank!)

Wundervoll

Wir waren das erste Mal am Lago Maggiore und haben eine wundervolle und erholsame Zeit gehabt. Schon im Vorfeld der Anreise hat uns Laura mit vielen wertvollen Informationen versorgt. Am Anreisetag wurden wurden wir herzlich empfangen. Laura und Davide haben uns in aller Ruhe alle Details am Haus erklärt. Hier stimmt einfach alles, das Haus entspricht vollständig den Beschreibungen und ist sehr sauber. Das Zimmer gut ausgestattet, es fehlte an nichts. Während dem Aufenthalt durften wir uns im riesigen Garten bedienen und haben täglich Cocktailtomaten und leckere Trauben gepflückt und gegessen. Die Gastfreundschaft von Laura und Davide ist einzigartig. Sie waren während dem gesamten Urlaub immer für uns erreichbar. Selbst für unseren Mailand Trip haben wir viele wertvolle Tipps von Parkmöglichkeiten bis Shoppinggelegenheiten erhalten. Nochmals ein großes Dankeschön an Laura und Davide. Wir haben tolle Urlaubstage verbracht und können das Haus jedem empfehlen.

Haus, Garten und Aussicht entsprechen 100% den Bildern im Angebot. Wir haben uns sehr über die voll ausgestattete Küche inkl. der vorhandenen Lebensmittel gefreut. Wohn- und Kochbereich sind sehr schön eingerichtet. Das einzige, was wir nicht so toll fanden, sind die privaten Kleider in den Schränken. (Nicht weil wir den Platz gebraucht hätten, sondern weil es etwas sonderbar ist.) Ansonsten war alles perfekt! Vielen Dank!

Toller Urlaub

Der Service im Vorfeld war perfekt. Laura hat uns mit allen Informationen wie gute Restaurants, Lidos und anderes in der Umgebung versorgt. Für einen Trip vom Lago Maggiore nach Mailand hat sie uns mit Rat und Tat zur Seite gestanden, auch für die dortige Übernachtung im Hotel. Wir durften uns aus dem Nutzgarten bedienen, soviel wie wir wollten. Das Haus ist gemütlich und liegt in bester Lage mit Blick auf den See. Wir kommen wieder!
