Fully renovated luxurious apartment, mountain atmosphere, fully equipped

The apartment is located in Les Deux Alpes, in the 2 Alpes 1800 part of the resort (map attached).  It has direct access to the slopes with a chair lift that connects to the entire ski area.  Near the apartment are a small supermarket, a bakery, a ski rental shop, restaurants, and an indoor spa and swimming pool.  The center of the resort is within walking distance, and there are free shuttles throughout the day to go from one end to the other.

There are two main ski schools with direct access from the appartment: ESF (French ski school, from 1st star level), with meeting point 8 min walk from the apartment or 1 min away on skis, and ESI Saint Christophe (European ski school, from 5-6 years old), with a shuttle picking up the children and bringing them back a couple of minutes away from the flat (in front of the Club-hotel).

The property:

A five bedroom apartment of 140 squared meters (c. 1500 square feet) for up to 14 people.  It was fully renovated and furnished to a high standard.  The flat is fully equipped, including:

- Entrance: benches, boot dryer, coat racks
- Living room: large TV, TV box and DVD player.  Balcony
- Kitchen / dining area: large table for 12 people, dishwasher, raclette and fondue appliances, mixer, oven, microwave etc.
- Double bedroom #1: 160cm x 200cm bed, storage and TV - ensuite shower room
- Double bedroom #2, #3 and #4: 160x200 bed (can be split in two 80x200) and TV.  Ensuite shower room in one of the bedrooms

- Dormitory room #5: 6 beds (80x200 bunk beds)

- 4 bathrooms (including 2 en-suite), 3 toilets

- Washing machine and dryer

Appartement spacieux et fonctionnel avec un équipement parfaitement adapté pour 14 personnes (rangements, vaisselle, mobilier...). + Un télésiège part juste au dessus de l'immeuble et donne accès à des pistes pour les skieurs de tous les niveaux. Je recommande fortement

Appartement fonctionnel mais environment bof!

Avant le séjour j’ai reçu les infos de fournir 1500€ de caution pour l’appartement et 500€ de caution pour le nettoyage. Pas d’état des lieux à l’arrivée donc déçu de la propreté et de la poussière présente en de nombreux endroits. Notre chambre ne sentait pas bon à cause de la douche de la salle de bain adjacente qui refoulait des odeurs nauséabondes. L’arrivée dans l’appartement vi les parkings souterrains en été ne donnait pas de sentiment de sécurité. Bref cela devrait être plus yampa en hiver… sinon l’appartement est très fonctionnel et la cuisine bien fournie.

Apparemment agréable à distance raisonnable des pistes et commerces, agence sur place nulle/désagréa

Propriétaire sympathique et à l’écoute, heureusement car l’agence sur place en-dessous de tout : pas de linge de maison à l’arrivée, personne de contacts sur place, désagréable et agressive, idem à la sortie. Appartement agréable et décoration sympathique mais pas tout à fait propre à l’arrivée avec plusieurs choses cassées et des restes de chantier encombrants les terrasses. Quincaillerie de porte mal montée qui se détache et ne permet plus d’ouvrir la salle de bain mais dépannage rapide et sympa.

Summer rental in Les Deux Alpes

Our family of 4 stayed in this apartment for 8 days in July. We frequently stay at rental homes in the US and Europe so we have experienced all types of places. Of all the stays we’ve ever had, we found this to be the most disappointing one. I’ll start with the pros - the kitchen is very well stocked, the wifi is strong (we had to work while staying in the apartment), it was nice to have a washer and dryer, and the apartment is set up to accommodate many people, so it may be good for larger groups. On the other hand, there were many negatives. The check in process was awful. When we arrived at the office of the management company it was absolutely filthy. She told us the address, circled it on a map and handed us the keys. We were on our own to find it in a maze of buildings and units. After a long day of driving we did not appreciate that. The building that the apartment is in is very dirty and unwelcoming with an atrocious smell in the hallways. Once we entered the unit we found a freezing cold apartment and we then had to make our own beds with folded up sheets they left us. They didn’t even give us mattress covers - just one sheet and one duvet cover per bed. We’ve never had to do this with a vacation rental over the last 10 years and found this to be very frustrating after the long travel day we just had. They also really skimped on soaps - we had to buy detergent, hand soaps and shower soap. I had a series of questions about how to use the stove and heater (if it’s this cold in July I wonder what it’s like in January) but there was no guide left to help renters. I had to keep contacting the management company. There was also a very foul odor coming from the plumbing in the bathroom and I was told that we just need to run water and it would clear out. I can tell you that after 8 days that smell never went away. Les 2 Alpes is a fun area with many things to do for kids in the summer, but overall we were never able to feel comfortable or truly enjoy ourselves here.

Un moment très agréable

Nous avons passés un séjour extra entre amis avec les enfants. L’appartement est très convivial et fonctionnel. Décoré avec beaucoup de goût et idéalement situé. Une adresse que l’on recommande vivement!

Modern en ruim appartement

We hebben een heerlijke vakantie gehad met onze familie (6 volwassenen en 4 kinderen). Het appartement is modern en gezellig ingericht en is zeer compleet. In de keuken is echt ontzettend veel te vinden. Goede bedden, babybed etc beschikbaar. Bakker en supermarkt zijn vlakbij. Skischool, cabinelift en andere winkels zijn wel 15 min lopen. Helaas was er geen zwembad meer (is vorig jaar gesloten). Parkeren was ideaal, een parkeergarage onder de appartementen. Het in en uit skieen viel tegen omdat er weinig sneeuw lag. Op 50 meter kon je wel de piste op, maar dan moest je eerst een lift pakken om in het centrale gebied (winkels, liften, skiles) te komen.

Superbe !

Superbe appartement décoré avec bcp de goût, super bien équipé avec tout le nécessaire en grande quantité. Literie très confortable. Le balcon est un plus l’été. Cela fait plaisir de pouvoir passer une semaine dans de telles conditions d’accueil et de confort. Merci beaucoup ! Une famille (1 couple avec 6 ados/adultes).

Fantastisch appartement in een verouderd complex.

Het appartement is werkelijk fantastisch. Het complex is ernstig verouderd en is in verhouding tot het appartement zelf zelfs zwaar onvoldoende. Het skiruim bevind zich op de onderste etage en de uitgang naar de liften op de bovenste (5e). Het complex heeft een lift die alleen op 0 en 5 toegankelijk is., terwijl er deuren op elke etage zitten. Deze lift was ten tijde van ons verblijf kapot en we moesten in volledige skiuitrusting naar boven klimmen. Er zijn geen faciliteiten voor bijvoorbeeld gehandicapten. Het appartement zelf is van zeer hoge kwaliteit en maakte ons verblijf heel fijn.

Good points are: - nice size with a good living room and kitchen - close to shops, restaurants, ski-lift - free parking under appartment Some downsides: - the appartment could be cleaner. Juste parfait !

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans ce très bel appartement rénové à neuf ! Tout est optimisé et très fonctionnel. Le salon séjour accueillant pour les moments de partage. La literie est très confortable. Nous avons apprécié le sèche chaussures dans l'entrée, et les extras de linge et de ménage.
