Chalet Vallon is a recently renovated chalet in the pretty village of Chandon. It has four bedrooms which can sleep 8 in total. There are 3 double bedrooms which can convert to twin beds if needed and a bunk room with beds suitable for both adults and children. The 3 double bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms and there is a further separate shower room with toilet. It has a wonderful top floor living/kitchen/dining room with views to the mountains including Mont Vallon. This room has a wood burning stove and other rooms have underfloor heating with individual controls. There is a basement with a washer/dryer and freezer and also a television. This room also has boot warmers and storage for skis and bicycles. There is wifi access throughout.
The chalet has 2 private parking spaces. However the chalet is next to the bus stop where a free bus service runs throughout the winter ski season and in the summer months of July and August.

Family Holiday

Lovely chalet, definitely big enough for all seven of us. Well resourced. Bus stop 20 yards away, we found it easier to stay on the bus initially and wait for it to drive back around rather than walk up the hill. We ended up driving in the end though as the buses drop in frequency during the day. Response was super fast when the bathroom door locked itself and was resolved in hours. Communication good and it was spotless inside. Fridge did freeze a few of our bits, but we had a fabulous stay here. Would definitely recommend this lovely chalet.

Aangenaam verblijf in “ les trois vallées”

We verbleven met 4 koppels in deze zeer degelijk ingerichte chalet/huis. Elke kamer een eigen badkamer met WC is een gewaardeerde meerwaarde. Ook een zeer goed uitgeruste keuken was een plezier voor de koks onder ons.Een kelder met diepvries en skiruimte. De bushalte vlakbij maakte het gebruik van eigen wagen enkel noodzakelijk voor boodschappen. Spijtig dat de vierde kamer met stapelbedden is en erg krap en badkamer in de hal. Goed voor kinderen, minder aangenaam voor het vierde koppel. Nog een tip : in keuken enkel Nespresso apparaat, wij namen ons koffiezet apparaat mee om voor 8 koffie te zetten. De kachel met hout zorgde voor de gepaste winterse sfeer. Het contact met de host verliep prima, elke vraag werd onmiddellijk beantwoord.

Chalet Chandon January 2024

The chalet is charming and is situated in a quiet, small villageof Chandon10m from the bus stop of the free bus service that runs between Les Allures and Meribel Center from early morning to late at night. Parking for two vehicles. There are multiple thermostats to customize the temperatures in the various rooms. All the rooms are charming and everything looks very clean and new. Full WiFi coverage over the whole property. Magnificent views from the living room and master bedroom. Our host was very responsive and helpful.

Exquisite property

This was the best holiday home we have stayed in as a family. Linda communicated well and was very helpful, allowing us to book mid week due to how Christmas and New Year fell. Linda helped when we had any other queries and questions about the house and area. The house is beautifully finished and very comfortable being recently renovated. The house had everything needed to cook Christmas Dinner and more. Everywhere was also meticulously clean. The stop for the free bus into Meribel was conveniently located so you didn't have to walk too far in ski boots or to go onto the village or centre in the evening. This is a great base for skiing in the three valleys. Our family made it beyond Meribel, to Val Thorens, Orelle and Courcheval skiing. We would certainly love to return.

Great challet in Chandon!

This is a great property. It was very clean and modern and perfect for our group. All the bedrooms and bathrooms are clean and adequately sized. The kitchen and common room are great. The property owner is very responsive and was a gracious host. The chalet is right next to a resort shuttle bus stop. Everything was great and I would definitely stay here again when returning to Meribel.

Séjour parfait !

Du 1er contact à notre départ, tout était parfait ! Linda est très réactive pour répondre à chaque questions. Le logement est très bien situé au calme et à 10 mètres de l'arret de bus pour les pistes de Meribel. Logement grand luxe, très propre avec une vue magnifique En photos on pourrait croire que l'espace de vie est petit mais pas du tout ! Très bonne surprise ! La literie parfaite également, vraiment tout était parfait Encore merci Linda, je vous souhaite une très bonne année

Fantastic chalet

Had a lovely holiday in this gorgeous chalet. It has everything you need, super clean, comfy beds, lovely showers and plenty of room for 2 families of 4. Easy access to bus routes into Méribel (bus stop just outside). Great communication / responsiveness from the owner. Have booked again for next year already.

Chalet superbe

Nous avons séjourné à deux familles dans ce chalet durant les vacances de février. Nous avons l’habitude de louer à Meribel depuis de nombreuses années, en général au pied de pistes. Ce chalet est situé au cœur du petit hameau de Chandon. Il est en tout point superbe : rénové avec beaucoup de goût et des matériaux de grande qualité, très bien aménagé, spacieux et très agréable. Il est dans la réalité encore mieux que sur les photos. C’est du haut de gamme. L’accès aux pistes se fait en 12 minutes depuis l’arrêt de bus qui se trouve à 30 mètres du chalet. Le soir, le retour est possible par une piste qui dessert le hameau et qui permet de skier jusqu’au chalet quasiment. Les échanges avec Linda, la propriétaire, ont toujours été très rapides et bienveillants. Nous la remercions chaleureusement pour ses superbes vacances passées dans son chalet. A coup sur nous y retournerons.

Perfect stay

Nice and comfortable chalet. Nice decorated. Every bedroom its own bathroom, big livingroom with nice fireplace. Kitchen with all equipment. Host very friendly and respons everytime within a day. Busstop 50 mtrs. from the chalet so skislopes within 15 minutes.

Great chalet, a perfect stay!

Really enjoyed our recent stay in this chalet. The photos don't really do it justice! The accommodation is well layed out, tastefully decorated, modern and far more spacious than we anticipated. The open plan kitchen, lounge, diner worked well and the views out to the mountains were wonderful. The short bus ride up to Meribel Centre each morning was not a problem and we were lucky enough to be able to ski back to the property at the end of the day. We had a fantastic week and would certainly recommend the property to other families/groups.

Beautiful and better than the pictures suggested.

The chalet was even better than the pictures suggested, having been renovated to a high standard. The beds were very comfortable. Everything that we could possibly need was there. The bus stop was right outside the property on the way to the slopes and if you didn’t want to walk up the hill with your skis on the way back, you just stayed on the bus for an extra 10 minutes down to Les Allues and back. The 3 vallies is a great skiing area, we particularly liked Courcheval and Meribel. Would recommend.

Hallo Linda der Aufenthalt in Deinem Haus war wunderbar. Super renoviert, tolles Ambiente. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen bestimmt wieder. Ein kleiner Hinweis für die Küche: wir haben keinen großen Topf gefunden für das Kochen für Spagettti. Die Stufen, die aus dem Haus führen wären mit einem Geländer etwas besser zu bewältigen. Beautiful chalet in a great location

Highly recommended, recently refurbished chalet next to the ski bus stop. Everything was great, right from booking and communication with Linda. The ski bus picks you up right next to the chalet, but you do have to walk up the hill from the main road on return - leave your skis up in the resort to make the journey back easier.

Très joli chalet

Le chalet est vraiment confortable et bien équipé et peut accueillir 8 personnes dans de très bonnes conditions. L'inconvénient de ne pas être au pied des pistes est largement compensé par le confort d'avoir beaucoup plus d'espace. De plus, l'accès au piste est très facile grâce à la navette (Méribus) qui passe presque au pied du chalet. Avec de bonnes conditions d'enneigement le retour ski au pied (ou presque) doit être possible.
