"Great property and what an amazing town! This house is loaded with cool antiques but with all the modern conveniences. Like the town, this house appears to be fairly old with internal brick walls in some rooms. It sparked a discussion about how the house evolved over time. Right on the Maumee River (beautiful!), next to a park and literally walking distance (2-5 minutes) to all of the downtown which has a number of cool little shops and businesses. Wish we could have stayed longer! Best...

"My college friend and I were there for our annual three day getaway. We love small towns and visiting all the stores and antique shops. Defiance was charming!We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the General’s Quarters. Everything there was just what we needed.. we would highly recommend it to anyone."

"We stayed while working. I wish we would have had a few vacation days because this cabin is perfect. Nestled in a quiet setting, fantastic hot tub, nature at your hands. The host and his partner were fantastic! This was as close to a honeymoon as my husband and I ever had! We are very likely to take some time off and get away to this cabin again! So if you're working, stay. If you're looking for romance, stay. I can't think of a reason why you wouldn't want to stay. Beyond quick responses from...

"Our stay was amazing! Super neat A frame....nicely decorated. We were very comfortable. Location was great near downtown Findlay, but yet you felt like you were in your own private escape in the city....nice pool area with loungers...patio area with lots of room to relax...horse shoe pit...large yard for our dog all surrounded by a creek, mature trees & landscaping. "I really enjoyed being on this property. The scenery was perfect. I enjoyed my coffee every morning by the creek. We enjoy the family barbecue and everybody thought it was awesome. Paul was exceptional. We will definitely be back hoping to be back in December. Thank you, Paul for all you did. "
