Welcome to Duck Terrace, your heritage red brick mid terrace cottage in Kibworth Beauchamp, South Leicestershire. Our interior designer was inspired by the pastels of traditional English cottages, blending soft hues and art works from some of our favourite local artists to create a cozy, inviting atmosphere over four floors. Perfectly located, this elegantly designed home sits at the centre of the village activity with four pubs within walking distance, an Indian restaurant, supermarket, two cafes and take away options. We offer three double bedrooms, reception room with log burner, home gym, cinema room, fully equipped kitchen, a garden and a large bathroom with rain shower and free standing bath.

✶ RECEPTION ROOM ✶
As you walk in you will be greeted to reception room with fully functioning log burner and smart speaker with Spotify subscription for your listening pleasure. This is the best place to kick back with a book and a roaring fire on a cool winter evening.

✶ THE DEN: CINEMA ROOM & GYM✶
Next up you have stairs down to the Den. On the left you have a large L shaped sofa with 65inch Smart TV. We don’t offer terrestrial but we have hardwired the TV for speedy internet viewing. On the right you have the home gym equipped with squatting rack, bench, treadmill and exercise bike.

✶KITCHEN, LAUNDRY & GARDEN ✶
When hunger strikes, the kitchen is back on the ground floor at the rear of the property. It is fully equipped with everything you need to fuel you during your getaway. We provide olive oil and coffee. Beyond the kitchen you have, across from the shared rear access you have laundry room, outdoor toilet (inherited from when these properties were built without plumbing) and garden with outdoor lounging area.

✶MASTER BEDROOM & LARGE SPA INSPIRED BATHROOM✶
On the first floor you have your master bedroom with super-king bed. The window overlooks Paget court cul-de-sac ensuring there is no traffic to disturb a peaceful night. Across the way you have the main bathroom with rain shower and free standing Victorian bath big enough for two.

✶TOP FLOOR BEDROOM TWO & THREE✶
On the second floor you have two double bedrooms sporting double beds. The front bedroom contains the original 100 year old beams and original artwork from @emilykirby. The rear bedroom is a sun trap with views over kibworth village.

✶DUCKS ON THE PROPERTY✶
Unfortunately your co-hosts mango and chutney featured in the listing pictures recently passed away. They are buried in the garden and their spirit lives on as founding members of @ducklingstays.

Home away from home

I travel a lot for work and stay in many different places, but not often I find a place that is as good as home. The primary bed was very large and comfortable with a variety of pillow types. It was dark and quiet at night. The bathroom was large with a modern rain shower or soaker tub....the choice is yours. Kitchen had everything you'd need to cook for yourself and the choice of living spaces were generous. Ground floor living room has a wood burning stove which I hope to enjoy when I come back in winter and downstairs has the big couch and tv. My hosts were so friendly and attentive, I can't fault them for helping out or having a chat. You won't be disappointed here.
