"We had an awesome stay at Redwoods River Resort! The location couldn’t be better nestled right near the Avenue of the Giants with beautiful river access just steps away. We were stoked to find the pub open and spent a relaxing evening with cold beers and a few games of shuffleboard. "We enjoyed our stay at this cozy home. The views were spectacular and it was about a 15 minute drive to town. The thermostat to the fireplace was not functioning and the beds and pillows were pretty uncomfortable, and likely just need to be replaced."

"This property was fully equipped, has beautiful views of the ocean sitting above the road, is two stories ,has a deck on second floor and is walking distance to state beach. While water is reported potable it has a horrible color, which the owner fully disclosed so take you drinking water. "

"Everything was very clean and comfortable. Nice hot shower, clean outhouse, and cozy cabin. We loved hanging out in the adirondack chairs with a view of the ocean. Communication with the host was great. "

There were a couple things we learned about the property right before our trip, which we would have preferred to know before going. While we booked through VRBO, Vacasa managed it which was not ideal. Once we were connected with the local property manager that was great - she was awesome."

"This is my second year to stay at Comfort Cove for the annual "Gimme Shelter" (GS) kayak fishing tournament and community event. I came back because my experience last year was so positive. Last year I was here solo, this year my wife came along. It's close to the activities near the campground meeting pavilion and boat launch. My wife says she loves that king size bed. "This was our third time staying here and we always have a great time! We take our two small dogs with us and they were also happy to be back. It was quiet at the cottage (except for when the bear tried to get into the garbage at 2am) and we almost had the beach to ourselves. Hope to return soon!"

We got to join the locals for bingo night at the community center and I took three yoga classes there too!
