  • La cabaña se encuentra en un lugar con vista al lago. Se ha renovado por completo y tiene capacidad para 4-5 personas (no es una zona de fiesta). Hay una gran terraza con un solárium con mosquitero que se suma al espacio. La vista es hermosa con el amanecer de la mañana y las vistas sobre el lago y hacia Blue Mountain. Está enclavado en el borde de los árboles: una nueva cocina y un nuevo baño. Estacionamiento para dos autos, así como espacio en el muelle para un bote de hasta 20 pies: se pueden alquilar canoas y kayaks al lado. El piso adicional de 16 x 12 con 10 x 12 apantallado en el solárium agrega 120 pies cuadrados de puerta blindada en el espacio ¡GUAU! Además, el área BQQ justo afuera de la sala de sol mira sobre el césped y el lago. Este es un espacio de dos dormitorios con una buena sala de estar. El segundo dormitorio es eficiente y tiene una litera con una cama doble inferior para adultos y una superior para equipaje o niños. La casa de campo está abierta y tiene una nueva cocina moderna. Hay un nuevo baño con ducha. Los huéspedes realmente disfrutan del entorno y la suite únicos. Esta no es una zona de fiesta. Sí, disfruta de unas cuantas cervezas, etc. pero no tolero a los borrachos ni a las fiestas. La propiedad de al lado es la misma. Diviértase, no se emborrache y se ponga tonta. Charleston Lake Park está a unos minutos en automóvil con una gran playa. Incluyo un pase de parque para aquellos que realmente quieren la experiencia de nadar en la playa de arena. El acceso aquí es ideal para canoa / kayak. Bote pequeño. Y "natación de fondo suave". It's a rustic cabin, clean and comfortable. Pretty view of the lake, and the owner has thoughtfully supplied anything you might need, including cooking utensils, coffee, dishes, etc. There was great communication with the owner, and we found our stay very relaxing. Would certainly stay here again.

The natural setting with large trees and lake view is lovely. We had all the basics in the cabin but guests need to be prepared for rustic and simple accommodations.

Lake views with amazing sunrise, clean rooms and the host Scott is a very nice person, kitchen had all the basic items you might need on a vacation. Overall, it was a great place to stay.

Nice cottage for 2 adults. Great idea to have use of a Charleston Lake park pass as we used it every day. Peaceful and quiet. Beautiful views. Greg, the host was very helpful and answered questions in a timely fashion. Cottage was well stocked for our needs.

The scenic view of the lake was very relaxing. If you are looking for a rustic get away by the lake, this may be your spot! We liked the kitchen area to prepare our food. Did I say it was rustic? We used it as a place to come back to after our adventures at 1000 islands and it was a quick drive back. It is a fine spot but my cousin thought it could have been cleaner but she’s never stayed at a bnb. We wished there would have been a curtain on the kitchen window.

Myself and 3 of my friends had a great time, the host was very accommodating. We had a severe storm on our first night there and the host had us hooked up to a generator in no time which was amazing as he stayed up all night to make sure all ran smoothly. Many laughs and great memories were made. We made new friends as the neighbours around us became close quickly. I highly recommend.

The cottage is small and rustic, as advertised. The kitchen is well equipped, the view over the lake great, and amenities as advertised. The park pass is a great asset, as it is very close and has excellent beaches, hiking, and canoeing. Wifi was excellent - didn't check the tv. So long as you re not looking for anything fancy, this is a very good place to stay.

Le chalet était plus petit que ce que laissait présager l'annonce. L'absence de rideaux sur plusieurs fenêtres limitait notre intimité, d'autant plus que le propriétaire réside à proximité et circule régulièrement sur le terrain. Durant notre séjour, d'autres groupes de visiteurs ont également été amenés sur le site. Les voyageurs à la recherche d'un environnement très privé ou d'un véritable sentiment d'isolement devraient en tenir compte avant de réserver.

Had a great time at the sunrise cottage. Accommodations and amenities (restaurant, supplies and boat rental just across the road) were much appreciated. The lake was the big highlight as it reminded us of what we’d find at Algonquin, but less than half as far from Montreal.

Immaculately clean little cottage overlooking beautiful Charleston Lake. Very basic in its decor and furnishings, but we had everything we needed for a pleasant stay. It was reassuring to know that Greg was nearby if we had any issues (though we didn't need him for anything at all.) The beds were very comfortable! The weather didn't cooperate for us to fully enjoy all the amenities (including the fire pit and free use of the pass to the nearby Provincial park) but our cottage was a centrally located home base while we explored Kingston, Gananoque, Perth, and other nearby places. Sitting out on the front deck was both relaxing and entertaining - birds and wildlife are abundant, and the site is otherwise generally quiet (but not too remote.)

Lovely Autumn Retreat

It was a lovely place for a weekend in the countryside. The accomodations were comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked with basics, and lots of wildlife to watch by the waterfront. Overall a great rental.

Nice rustic cabin in a beautiful spot

We enjoyed staying at the cabin, very convenient location, beautiful outdoor area and nice patio, our host showed us around and gave tips how to navigate. Appliances are old but working just fine, the beds are super comfortable, great deal for the price.

Quiet and homey

We enjoyed our stay. We were 3 people staying and the rooms accommodated us perfectly. The tin roof was the perfect cherry on top at night when it was raining.

This small, humble, and tidy cabin easily met our needs for a short-term visit. Our host was welcoming and helpful. The grounds around the cabin were delightful. The mosquito netting around deck was very good idea. Cabin's location within minutes of the Provincial Park was perfect.

The host was amazing. The cabin was very clean. The host was available if you required assistance and was very informative about the area and things to do. I would say he goes above and beyond.

The cottage was rustic and well-maintained with all the necessary amenities to make our stay comfortable. Greg was kind, easy to communicate with, and extremely helpful. This cottage is very close to Charleston Lake Provincial Park, and we made great use of the park pass that was included with our stay. We are grateful for Greg's hospitality and would love to return in the future.

Great Getaway

This is a great property at the Outlet, on Charleston Lake. We stayed in the smaller cabin and it was perfect for our getaway. Cabin is clean, well stocked with cooking essentials, fresh linens, fire pit and a beautiful view of the lake. Our host was fabulous. Great spot at the end of the laneway for snacks/icecream, breakfast and much more. Our only regret is that it was only a short staycation/recharge. Wish we could have stayed longer.
