Superb location in the heart of Lecce!

We loved our stay at Carla's flat! The location is superb as it is truly in the heart of Lecce. It is situated in the main pedestrian street filled with lovely bars and restaurants, and is just steps away from Piazza S. Oronzo. Parking can be found nearby. The flat is comfortable and well-appointed. The private terrace is a delight for morning tea or coffee, aperitivi or meals al fresco!

Perfect for exploring Puglia!

This apartment is amazing! Carla and Guiseppe were so nice and helpful, and the place is just perfect. Located in the heart of Lecce, the decor is so classy, and the terrace simply cannot be beat. If you are looking to explore the region - this is the place to stay. It was perfect. Ending the night with a glass of wine on the patio was just the best. Would absolutely stay here again if I ever return to Puglia!

Fabulous apartment - full of character and in a perfect location in the heart of Lecce

We loved staying here. It was comfortable, cool and spacious and felt very Italian. We would definitely return. The large kitchen is well equipped and the furniture comfortable. The roof terrace was amazing .... huge! It was a perfect spot to have a bottle of wine and watch the world drift by below .... a fantastic asset.

Casa maravillosa para visitar Salento

La casa es estupenda. Con una terraza maravillosa. Muy cuidada y muy limpia. Con todo aquello que se necesita. Ubicación perfecta al lado de Santa Croce. Carla y Giuseppe son muy amables. Hemos tenido mi familia y yo una estancia muy agradable en Lecce. La mejor opción para visitar Salento

WOW!

The pictures of this place do not do it justice. The location is perfect and the property is absolutely beautiful. It's bright, airy and clean. The terrace is private and enormous - which we took advantage every night with a bottle of wine as we watched people stroll throughout the city below us. The air conditioning made for comfortable sleeping. Everything is walking distance - it was the PERFECT place for our special girls trip.

Beautiful Spacious Apartment in the center of Lecce

This apartment in the heart of Lecce is perfect. One of the very best places we have rented anywhere. It is the only apartment in a historic building one block from the main piazza. The rooms are all spacious, with comfortable stylish furniture, and all the amenities you need. In addition, the apartment has a large patio garden, overlooking the street and piazza. Carla is a fabulous host. We will definitely be back.

My friend and I enjoyed five wonderful days exploring Lecce and the surrounding area.

The apartment is centrally located. It is spacious and comfortable. One bedroom is up a spiral staircase, both beds were great. The terrace and living room provide relaxation after long days of touring. The kitchen is fully equipped, though we ate most meals in Lecce's great restaurants!! Carla was a helpful, wonderful host!!!

A beautiful, spacious, and well-equipped apartment in the historic center of Lecce

This apartment is wonderful. It has everything that you need to make your stay in Lecce a fabulous experience. The apartment has heating/air conditioning, plenty of hot water, good wifi. Carla's housekeeper comes twice per week to clean and changes towels and sheets once a week. She even did our laundry the first week when we asked her, although there is a washing machine in the apartment to do it yourself if you want. The terrace is very large and lovely. I sat on the terrace every morning to have coffee and write, even though it was a bit chilly. (I just bundled up!) Lecce is a wonderful city with many of the Italian traditions (that have been lost in Rome and cities further north) still intact: all the shops close in the afternoon, restaurants (of which there are many) are open from 12:30-2 or 3:00, then again at 8:30 pm for dinner. There are many bars for coffee and snacks and shops filled with souvenirs or fabulous clothing and other items. The city is rich in 2000+ years of history with beautiful churches and architecture. My husband and I stayed in the apartment for 3 weeks. It was always a pleasure to come home. (One caveat: there is no elevator, and the stairs to get into the apartment are fairly steep and numerous [about 20]. It wasn't a problem for us; going up and down them gave us extra exercise to help burn off some of the wonderful food that we ate everyday.)

Amazing Central Location with Extremely Large Roof Terrace accessed from lounge

Fabulous first apartment. Large fully equiped dining kitchen (absolutely everything you would need). Spacious lounge. Both rooms with dramatic vaulted high ceilings. Extremely large roof terrace accessed directly from the lounge. Central location in the middle of Lecce on pedestrian area. Despite its amazingly central location it is quiet. The best holiday apartment I have ever stayed in.

Wonderful in so many ways!

We chose this apartment for the terrace and as a base to explore Puglia and it did not disappoint. We spent almost every (late) evening sitting outside on the beautiful terrace wine in hand, watching the people of Lecce come and go from beautiful Piazza S. Oronzo. The apartment itself was beautiful, spacious, well appointed and sunny. We turned on the A/C a few days while we were there and it cooled the rooms quickly. Carla and her daughter Martina were available to us for any request that we had and their responses were almost immediate. We had a small issue with the Wi Fi after a couple of weeks, Carla made every effort to sort out the problem for us even purchasing a "mobile WiFi unit" which we ultimately did not require. Carla's apartment is in a fantastic location for exploring the Baroque town of Lecce as well as a base for exploring the Puglia region. We had two family members join us for the first week and the loft area was perfect as a sleeping area for them. Sharing the shower in our bathroom wasn't a big deal for us but for 2 couples traveling together may not be the ideal set up. The lady that came in to clean and change towels twice weekly was delightful! Our favorite wine bar was Mamma Elvira, best entertainment also a great wine bar was Il Banco right down stairs from the apartment...excellent live music on Thursday nights while we were there. Favorite restaurant Le Zie just outside of the old city, exceptional local food and reservation's are a must. We had a pizza fan in our group and he voted La Torre di Merlino the outright winner. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Carla and her beautiful apartment for your stay in Lecce, you will not be disappointed.

Suuuuuuuuuuuuuuper.

Das Domizil liegt in der historischen Altstadt und hat sehr schöne große Zimmer. Nachdem wir die Wohnung zu ersten Mal gesehen haben waren wir absolut positiv überrascht. Die Bilder im Internet zeigen nicht wirklich die Qualität dieser Wohnung. Das Domizil ist geräumig, sehr sauber, eingeschlossen der Bäder, dank der sehr zuverlässigen Reinigungskraft. Eine großzügige eingerichtete Küche lädt ein auch mal selber zu kochen und die restlichen schön eingerichteten Zimmer sorgen dafür, dass man sich sehr wohlfühlt und gern mal einen Tag in dieser Wohnung verbringt. Der Vermieter half uns am ersten Tag zum Entladen der Koffer eine Parkmöglichkeit zu finden. Auch war die Einweisung in das Domizil sehr genau und umfangreich. Die Abreise war auch sehr unkompliziert, wir haben der Reinigungskraft die Schlüssel zurückgegeben und eine schelle Inspektion durch die Wohnung gemacht. Es hat mich sehr beeindruckt das Vertrauen, das sie uns als Mieter entgegengebracht haben. Ein großes Dankeschön auch an dieser Stelle. Ich kann die Wohnung wärmstens empfehlen, wenn ich wieder nach Lecce komme werde ich als erstes bei diesen Vermietern nachfragen.

Fantastic!!!

From the minute we met Carla I knew we were in good hands. Her place was a dream come true, great location, amazing terrace, beautifully appointed. My husband and I like to cook and the kitchen for a rental had almost everything we needed.I left Carla several emails inquiring about this & that and she responded immediately. Oh one other thing she had a housekeeper who came twice a week who was fantastic! We have been renting apartments for years and never has a housekeeper come more than once a week.

Appartamento stupendo, situato proprio nel centro storico di Lecce. Comodissimo!

L'appartamento è luminoso, dotato di tutti i comfort e molto silenzioso. Ha inoltre una stupenda terrazza molto comoda anche per i fumatori. La terrazza si affaccia proprio su piazza S. Onofrio che è il cuore della città, permettendo quindi al visitatore di raggiungere a piedi i monumenti più importanti e di trovare i ristoranti migliori senza doversi spostare ogni volta con la macchina. Carla Valentini, la proprietaria è stata gentilissima. Ci ha addirittura aspettati tenendoci (fisicamente) il posto per parcheggiare l'auto. Un appartamento quindi da tenere in considerazione se si desidera visitare una delle città barocche più suggestive della Puglia.

Wonderful apartment and location

We spent 5 nights. The apartment was immaculate, with every thing you need for a comfortable stay. We cooked three dinners and had everything needed to cook our meals. The location is perfect, just 150 feet from the very center of town. The terrace is delightful. Despite the location, it is quiet. Could not have been better.
