THE COTTAGE
KITCHEN – Modern kitchen with granite counter tops, recessed lighting, extra-large sink under bright window and stainless-steel appliances - gas (propane) stove/oven, refrigerator with ice and water dispenser, dishwasher, coffee grinder, Keurig & Mr. Coffee coffee machines, microwave, toaster, griddle, waffle iron, blender, crock pots, mini food chopper, rolling pin, pantry items, etc. Fully stocked with dish sets, silverware, pots and pans, mixing bowls, pitchers, cups, wine glasses, mugs - everything needed to prepare meals. Exterior door to patio with large gas grill/BBQ.

DINING ROOM – Open dining room off the kitchen and living room with a large table under chandelier lighting for everyone to eat together. This cottage features a bonus, beautifully decorated and screened-in dining area outside with stunning views of the Lake too!

LAUNDRY – Full size, stackable washer and dryer located in 1st floor full bathroom. Iron & Board. Clothing hampers provided in each bedroom.

BEDROOMS – Pillows, blankets, bed sheets, and bath towels are provided.

Bedroom 2: 2nd floor bedroom with Queen size bed, desk & chair (for remote working needs)

LIVING ROOM – Bright living room provides a comfortable place for family to gather with a soft leather couch and loveseat, additional oversized chairs and rocking chair. Watch movies on the large, flat-screen Smart TV with DVD player, or curl up in front of the stone fireplace. Board games, toys, and books for children too! A double set of French doors lead directly onto the porch. Additional door leads to outdoor dining room.

PORCH - Large wrap around porch with the best views of the lake that Mount Gretna has to offer! Relax on porch swings, rocking chairs, and comfortable furniture surrounded by large rhododendron bushes and mature trees. Separate, screened-in, outdoor dining room with large table plus additional back patio with BBQ!

Bathroom 1: 1st floor full bathroom with toilet, modern, European-style basin sink, stand up shower, stackable washer & dryer (full size).

FIREPLACE – Available from October through April, please enjoy the indoor, gas log fireplace located in the living room of the cottage.

PARKING – Two (2) off-street parking spaces and two (2) on-street parking permits provided. Please note, on-street parking by permit only. Any violation subject to penalty by fine/ticket issued by Cornwall Borough Police.

Our stay was very comfortable from all aspects. The cottage is cozy, homey, and well appointed. Very comfortable bedrooms and plenty of space for the 4 of us. It was fascinating to see the history and renovation of the cottage in one of the photo albums and it made us appreciate the rental even more.Good communication with the host, questions were quickly answered and with the pending snow storm on Sunday, we were offered an extension to our stay if needed. SO many good things about this place - fab front porch: great enclosed side porch for eating; fans in both those areas; quality appliances and kitchenware for eating/ cooking; good lights for reading in living area; walking distance of all the "hot" spots; nicely cleaned; lots of helpful explanations, neatly typed, around equipment in the house; wonderful old hinges and doorknobs to add charm; a fun hunt to find the bedroom closets (at first I thought there weren't any); linen and towels provided; parking area at back of house plus 2 passes for the street; total house AC that worked beautifully, etc. Would stay again!

Loved the porch!

We had such a great family reunion here and would love to stay again. Our daughter loved the porch and the location to see the lake. We were in walking distance to the playground which was a bonus. The house was very clean and well designed.

Great stay in Mount Gretna

Great property with plenty of room and a wonderful screened in porch. The master bedroom and bath were huge with lots of room and two sinks. Check-in was very easy and the pictures and house info was very accurate. We love Mont Gretna and would Definitely stay again!

Great location & house!

The house was perfect for what my family of 6 needed! They had everything you needed and more! They thought of things and gadgets you wouldn’t have thought of! The inside of the house was very neatly organized and clean and showed pride in ownership! The outside patios were AMAZING! We are our meals on the screened in porch. The kids loved sitting on the swings to relax and enjoy themselves! We loved the location and the house so much we discussed going back sometime!

Its a beautiful setting very quite and charming

Very happy with everything lots of room for everyone. Bathroom are all good size and patio alittle small. But porch is big. So its somewhere i would love to go back to again.

Great location with short walking distance to The Jigger Shop, Gretna Playhouse and Porch & Pantry. Kitchen has everything you need! Relaxing covered porch to watch the birds and squirrels.

Came from Florida to see the Amish and Hershey

The home was just as described and was Very quaint , eclectic , clean and appealing. It was a peaceful stay. We enjoyed the swing and spent some time on the porch in the evening playing UNO. We were a little disappointed with the downtown area , the ice cream shop was not open and it appeared to be getting some repairs on the property as well as there wasn’t any other place to visit close by. If you enjoy plenty of down time with peace and quiet this is the place to be.

Peaceful Getaway

We really enjoyed our stay. It was a bit chilly so we didn’t get to take advantage of the screened in porch or the covered deck. We loved the charm and coziness of the house … especially the gas fireplace. We found the beds to be comfortable and the kitchen well stocked! I imagine the warmer months are quite a bit of fun there with plenty to do in walking distance. We would definitely stay here again!

One of the most interesting historic communities in PA

I had some friends stay with me the first weekend to enjoy the Mt. Gretna Outdoor Art show. During the week, I rode my bike on the 15 mile long Lebanon Valley rail trail, walked for miles around the community did a little work using the provided WiFi, and celebrated my birthday with my adult children the last weekend. I would recommend the house and community very highly

Lovely family home

This was such an unexpected surprise. We loved the location and the serene environment. The home itself is cozy and perfect to spend family time on the porch or at the table. The near by lake was a favorite of our daughters and we all enjoyed our sweet treats from Jiggers!
