Welcome to Heaven Can Wait Lodge—an unrivaled, one-of-a-kind private retreat located 30 minutes from the charming town of Leavenworth and 35 minutes from Stevens Pass. Overlooking the Wenatchee River, this waterfront property spans 12 acres of pristine forests, fields, and Riverside beaches, creating an extraordinary setting for your getaway.
Please note there is no added cleaning fee, cleaning is inclusive in our nightly rate.

This spacious 4500 sf home is designed to comfortably accommodate up to 12 guests, making it perfect for families or a close-knit group of friends. Parking is a breeze with our ample 7-car parking.
With its well-equipped kitchen boasting three refrigerators, two dishwashers, and an expansive dining table, the Lodge is a culinary haven for creating memorable family meals.

Each season at the Lodge offers its own unique appeal. Do as much or as little as your heart desires. Relax in our soothing hot tub or cedar-lined sauna and fall asleep under a down comforter that promises a night of quiet solitude. For movie nights or game days, our media room features a 70-inch screen to elevate your viewing experience. During the colder snowy months December-March, The Lodge has two glass-fronted Lopi wood stoves for a cozy atmosphere while watching snow fall outside. Stay connected and entertained with high-speed WiFi, a pool table, and a foosball table.

In the summer, enjoy a heated swimming pool, tennis court with pickleball lines and basketball hoops, an outdoor chess set, and a children's sand play area. Ample lawn space for outdoor games and a private trail to the confluence of the Wenatchee and Chiwawa Rivers make for endless adventure and relaxation.

Local activities abound, from golfing and rafting to hiking, skiing, and shopping in Leavenworth. Whether staying on the property or exploring the surroundings, you're sure to create unforgettable experiences and cherished memories.

AMAZING getaway!

We went out for a yearly weekend cabin getaway with a group of couples, this has been by far the best house we have stayed at and the best experience! Shannon was amazing to book with and very friendly, the home was beautiful and we utilized the hot tub and sauna to the full extent. We will book again and hopefully book to to experience the home over the summer! The views were immaculate as well.

Heaven indeed!

Our family consisted of adult kids, their partners and our 11 year old. Room for everyone to stretch out so we could enjoy each other without smothering. Some of us hung out in the livingroom by the fire while others relaxed in the sauna or played games in the game room. The kitchen is huge and allowed for dinners and baking to occur at the same time. We are definitely going back!

Christmas wonderland

We came up to see Leavenworth over Christmas. It was a bit of a trek to get into town (like 35 minutes or so) but the scenery coming off the mountain was nice to look at. The house was more than large enough for all of us. The teenagers loved the game room with the pool table. The kitchen was awesome and accommodating for my family of 10. Everyone wants to come back up at summer time now. You won’t regret staying here!

Aptly named - Heaven Can Wait

Our family stayed at this lovely lodge for our "2024 Summer Christmas Vacation". Each year at Christmas, instead of exchanging gifts, we save our money and book a summer vacation. Our family consisted of 10 people, ranging in age from 1 to 85. It really was heavenly. I can't say enough good things about this home. As others have said, it was very clean, filled with all high quality amenities, located in a peaceful and beautiful area, spacious, etc. For us it was a combination of comfort and luxury. I was a little concerned about not having air conditioning at first because we had a couple elderly people in our group. However, despite temps in the mid 90's, the house stayed very comfortable! Every one of us remarked about how cool it felt, even during the heat of the day. If I hadn't been told, I would have guessed it had AC. Almost everyone said their favorite part was having a swimming pool, but for me it was the gourmet kitchen.

Total Perfection

Heaven Can Wait was absolutely perfect for our party of ten. The house and property are beautiful and have everything we needed. There was no need to leave during our three night stay because the property had something for everybody. Shannon responded immediately when we had questions and couldn’t be nicer. We will return!

Pure Paradise

We have stayed at some amazing VRBO houses but HCW is by far the very best. A five star rating doesn’t do it justice. HCW has multiple bedroom and bathroom options, and a master suite, many rooms and all gathering areas have pool and river views. The kitchen is very well equipped and there are great kitchen seating/gathering options. The pool was perfect, clean and heated. The pickleball/tennis court was fun and the swing was a hit with our grandson. We found multiple offsite activities including fishing, bouldering, hiking, dining, etc. Shannon was highly responsive to our inquiries. We certainly hope to return again.

Amazing Lodge for a Weekend Getaway

I stayed at HCW Lodge with 9 of my childhood friends for our annual get together. This house had it all and was perfect for our group. The accommodations where very comfortable - and the kitchen had everything we needed. From the sport court, to the pool and river access - this was a weekend to remember. We stayed four nights and all guests shared they could have continued staying there longer with all of the activities for recreation and relaxation!

Dream Cabin by the River

We stayed at HCW with extended family and our two teenage boys for my husband's 50th birthday. This home is incredible. My family members said it was more like a resort than a cabin. There is ample space with plenty of comfortable beds and private bedrooms. The decor is well done and we loved all the bear pictures. The adults favorite part was the HUGE, fully stocked kitchen and Weber grill which made meals super easy. We also enjoyed the upper deck with outdoor dining area. My teenage boys especially liked the pool, hot tub, game room, basketball/pickle ball court, and exploring the grounds near the river. Truly there is just so much to do at this cabin, yet it is also perfect for just relaxing and gazing at the river. The host of the property was helpful and timely in all of our communication. We appreciated that there were labels and clear instructions for EVERYTHING all over the house. This made things feel homie, yet very professional. I would highly recommend staying at HCW for any larger group. This rental was perfect in every way.

Wonderful Home!

My family just returned from 4 nights at Heaven Can Wait. We all had a great time. The pool was a hit, the temperature was perfect! We cooked our meals at the lodge and the kitchen was very well-stocked. Having 3 fridges and 2 functioning ice makers made everything so easy. The view is stunning. It makes your soul happy, absolutely the best feature of this house. We hope to be back! Thank you to Shannon for sharing this special home!

Incredible Lodge

Our family booked this lodge for our annual family vacation and had an absolutely amazing time. The lodge offered something for everyone in our group, from our two young grandchildren to the grandparents. The trails, pool, hot tub, sports court, as well as the great selection of movies and games helped us create wonderful memories. We couldn't have had a better time and can't wait to stay in this amazing lodge again.

The perfect getaway for our little family.

Waking up to the deer in the front yard, watching the 2 eagles soar above us, listening to the chirping of the birds all day, surrounded by nature was exactly what we needed..The pool, the hot tub, tennis/basket ball court, swings, a play house outside for the kids, big outdoor chess, the trails, PLUS MORE (and that was just outside!!) was an added bonus. The house had more than enough room for all of us. I love that the table was big enough for us to eat together. Very clean. The kitchen had EVERYTHING we needed, all we had to bring was our food. 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Everything you need and more!

Six adults and six kids found plenty of fun activities during our stay! The house is fully stocked with everything you need. The house, pool, sauna, and hot tub were very clean. The three refrigerators gave us plenty of space to store our food! The riverfront location is amazing. We would love to return.
