Brought to you by the same owners of Sunsets by the Bay, and Another Sunset by the Bay

Located on Point Pelee Drive, the bunker is ideal for a couple, or an individual looking for a short term stay in the Leamington Area.

It boasts comfort, and Lake Erie living.

The outdoor picnic table and bonfire pit ensures you and your guest never miss a beat of the Lake Erie View

The bunker is equipped with everything you need, including a queen size bed with sheets, a love seat with recliners, washer and dryer, gas oven and stove, microwave, and refrigerator/freezer. The bath includes a fully tiled shower that adds a perfect touch of home.

Short drive into town for all your shopping needs

*Please note: there is full house on the property, and that could be rented by a separate group. The driveway is the only amenity shared with the house.

The name of this property says it all. It is a perfect couples getaway. It was super cosy with high end finishes. Our host Gabriella was fantastic! Quick to respond and very friendly. The property had a fire pit and the sunsets were incredible. The area boasts the port pelee provincial park and within a short drive there is an abundance of wineries and breweries to visit. We had an amazingly perfect weekend away!

Such a cute little cottage that I wish was my own, to escape to, far enough from the town to feel away, but close enough for everything you need. SUPER comfy bed, good heating system, tankless hot water, cozy couch, lacking nothing.

We enjoyed a wonderful 3 days. Accommodation was beautifully appointed and equipped with everything you could imagine, There was a spectacular view of the bay especially at sunset. Gabriella was very accommodating and very accessible. We would not hesitate to stay there again and strongly recommend Sunset by the Bay or The Bunker by the Bay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our getaway to this quaint destination overlooking the Lake Erie, Leamington Ontario that we managed to get away to. We enjoyed the peace and tranquility compared to the daily city noise in our current city. This location had all the comforts of home!

Clean and tidy place, lovely view of the lake, we visited the nearby restaurant a few times just for the convenience of the five minute walk, the owner has utilised the space and give it a modern look that is very functional but cosy.....we will stay again but a wee bit longer next time

The property is well maintained, clean and close to Point Pelee National Park. Two people can comfortably utilized the living space. A family pass was included in the rental for the park and this gives you access to beaches, swimming, kayaking and biking.

This little property was perfect to get away, relax and recharge. Located on the lake, the view is beautiful and serene. Nice and close to Point Pelee and they even give a park pass to use during your stay. The host was easy to get a hold of and we had no issues whatsoever.

The location is nearly perfect, with the Lake Erie shoreline, crashing waves and dramatic sunsets. Point Pelee is an easy bike ride away. The cottage is sweet and comfortable, and well-stocked with essentials, ie coffee ! Gabriela is very responsive to all enqiries, and there's welcome and "farewell" messages.

The bunker was a very lovely cottage to stay in, was a little smaller than expected but it is a good size for 2 people. My only real complaint is the comfort of the bed. It was a bit hard/lumpy which made sleeping a little uncomfortable. Still, the view was lovely and being 5 minutes from Point Pelee was a huge plus.

My husband and I came to the bunker for our honeymoon. It was the coziest spot to stay and loved getting to sit out by the water to watch the sunset. There was also a complementary pass to point pelee national park which was as huge bonus! That allowed us to go into the park free of charge and explore. There are several beautiful trails nearby and the beaches on the point were lovely. It all made for the prefect stay!
