"Love the Brown County Inn, have visited many times. Very clean rooms & great hotel & restaurant staff. Pool was overwhelmed with so many kids & lots of chlorine smell, would be nice to have adult only pool times, especially on holiday weekends when many adults are staying without children. Was difficult to get in pool to swim, with all the kids constantly monopolizing the pool & crazy with the cannonballs jumping & toys. Should be able to share better for everyone to enjoy. Maybe next time."

"It’s obvious the lack of competition for hotel chains is one of the reasons why this (and other properties) aren’t upgrading or even moderately maintaining their properties. While the staff were very nice, the hotel and rooms felt old, dated, threadbare and in need of renovation. Brown County is stunning … but its hotels leave a lot to be desired."

"Totally enjoyed this hotel. Very convenient and clean and secure. Got a room right next to end doors so very easy going and coming. Only issue was the people above us for the first couple nights. A child kept running and jumping around and heavy walking but stopped around midnight so could have been worse."

"For the price i would bypass this one . Rooms are not updated . Walls are paperthin . People next to us and above us kept us up all night long . We had a room with a balcony The bathroom had a window that overlooked the people next to us balcony so at anytime they could look into our bathroom just had a flimsey old curtain to block the view Food was not worth the price paid yea totally bypass this one at all cost"

"The room was clean and maintained. The owners left a number to call for checking in, while I stood outside in the sun. The property looked rough, it had poison ivy growing out onto the parking lot."

"Room was clean and quiet. Good rest. Breakfast was a little lacking so I hit the Waffle House. Staff was very helpful when I couldn’t get into the first room assigned because of a dead battery in the door. I would stay again simply for the peace and quiet."

"I like that the bed was comfortable and it was close to everything. The staff was pleasant when checking in and out. The outside was rough, looks like possibly remodeling, a toilet was outside in front of a room. The inside was outdated, painted chipped off the walls not outlets, the one we could use sparked when you plugged something into it. The TV kept freezing up during the program. It definitely needs to be updated badly. We only stayed one night but the price was okay just to sleep for the...

"Beautiful furniture, nice overall place, great walking distance to most things in a cute town! Only issue is it advertises two bathrooms and there are NOT two. We brought this up to management. They said they would correct this listing, but it has not been corrected. "

"Check your room before you put anything down. You might find left over poop on the toilet. You will be complained at if you sit in the lobby and are slightly loud while talking to friends. How dare we interrupt your personal call while you are at work."

"This was a very nice room, and we would stay again. The bed was comfortable, and there was room to relax. The only complaint was that there were people, probably children, running around above us until late into the night. If we stayed again, I would request a room on the third (top) floor."

Decent breakfast, skip the pool, enjoy the exercise room. Friendly staff, easy in and out off interstate. Plenty dining options nearby."
