"This little place was finished and decorated very beautifully. The snacks and appliances and kitchen supplies were amazing. We are able bodied but I want to point out that the bedrooms are all upstairs and the bathroom is downstairs. Our host was awesome and answered any questions promptly. We would book again."

"We had a very disappointing experience with this VRBO rental. Before our stay, we unfortunately had a death of a horse and needed to cancel. The host declined our request and only offered a 50% refund, which put us in a difficult position. Since we couldn’t recover most of our money, we decided to go ahead with the trip anyway.
Upon arrival, the cleanliness of the home was far below expectations. There were dishes in the drying rack on the counter. Newspapers all over the counter. Dirty sponge...

"An absolutely amazing experience. You couldn’t ask for a more wonderful place to stay. Peaceful location, clean and well supplied home. Great communication from the owner. I would absolutely recommend booking this if you are anywhere in the area. We were actually visiting Rockford for family events and found this gem just 20 minutes away that several of our households stayed at. GREAT PLACE TO STAY."

"An absolutely beautiful home, inside and out. We had our son's wedding there, where I cooked for about 20 guests. The kitchen was nicely equipped for such a task. Very easy communication throughout the stay as well. I highly recommend this place for any special occasion. Everyone was very comfortable there, and we had ages 8 to 92 sstaying with us!"
