  • Offering the perfect holiday for a couple seeking total peace and relaxation.
    We are in beautiful countryside, yet close to two local thriving villages,offering a whole array of amenities.
    The chalet has been completed and tastefully decorated recently to a high standard furthermore it is fully insulated for either winter or summer occupancy. it is located in our large garden with a nice selection of trees and shrubs ,
    There are some very nice walks in countryside in our immediate area, however , the Normandy Beaches are not too far away.
    There are 3 local markets that trade every week and are always busy, they offer a true taste of French Life.
    Also , Deauville , Trouville , Honfleur , are not too far away and well worth a day out !!! We are approximately one hour's drive from the ports of Le Havre and of Ouisterham.
    Included in your holiday rental are the following :

Exceptionally warm and welcoming hosts who had great knowledge of the surrounding area and provided sound recommendations for restaurants and places to visit. Further, the facilities and welcome pack content was far superior to anything else we have experienced in our multi stay holiday. Anyone seeking peace and tranquility with beautiful villages and restaurants nearby, will not be disappointed.

Wir verbrachten mehrere Tage bei David und Tricia und können nur sagen: Es gibt garantiert keine besseren Gastgeber! ❤️ Wir fühlten uns von der ersten Minute an wie zu Hause und wurden unglaublich herzlich empfangen und verwöhnt. Das Häuschen ist wunderschön, mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet, blitzsauber und sehr gepflegt. Die Küche ist bestens ausgestattet, es fehlt wirklich an nichts. Auch das WLAN hat einwandfrei funktioniert. Das Haus liegt auf einem riesigen, wunderschönen Grundstück gemeinsam mit dem Haus der Gastgeber. Alles ist komplett eingezäunt, sodass unser Hund das gesamte Grundstück frei nutzen konnte. David und Tricia sind ausgesprochen tierlieb und haben selbst einen kleinen Hund. Hier sind Vierbeiner wirklich herzlich willkommen und nicht nur erlaubt! 🐾 Auf der Terrasse gibt es gemütliche Gartenmöbel und einen Grill. Dort kann man wunderbar sitzen, auf die großen Bäume schauen und einfach die herrliche Ruhe genießen. Die Lage ist perfekt, um die Umgebung zu erkunden. Die Strände sind mit dem Auto gut erreichbar und David hatte unzählige tolle Tipps für schöne Orte und Sehenswürdigkeiten. Aber das Schönste sind definitiv David und Tricia selbst. Ihre Herzlichkeit, Gastfreundschaft und die vielen kleinen Aufmerksamkeiten haben unseren Aufenthalt ganz besonders gemacht. Zum ersten Mal in meinem Leben war ich wirklich traurig, dass ich nach Hause musste❤️ Wir werden garantiert regelmäßig wiederkommen und freuen uns schon jetzt auf das nächste Mal!

Entspannung pur

Der Aufenthalt dort war sehr schön. Der Hund konnte im Garten laufen und man hatte seine Ruhe. Die Gastgeber waren sehr zuvorkommend und liebevoll. Es hat uns sehr viel Spaß gemacht.

Quelques jours en Normandie

Les propriétaires sont très avenant et ils ont été très à l'écoute de nos souhaits voir plus. Un couple vraiment formidable. La découverte des lieux était super agréables et un cadre magnifique, très calme et reposant. Merci à Mr David , à Tricia et à leurs petit Leo .Ont est sûr de revenir très bientôt.

Beautiful Place/Beautiful Hosts

We enjoyed our stay in the cozy little cottage, which was very comfortable. The only thing to top it was the hosts. They were incredibly welcoming and helpful. We hope to see them again one day.

Blissfully, beautiful location

A wonderful, peaceful location with beautiful gardens. Perfect for easy access to charming local towns, villages and the beautiful Normandy coastline. The accommodation was very cosy and comfortable (especially the bed) with everything we needed. David and Tricia were the perfect hosts - on hand to share their extensive local knowledge and offer plenty of excellent recommendations of where to eat and visit. Thank you both for making our stay so relaxing and enjoyable - we would love to return in the future.

Short stopover

Lovely clean and well fitted out chalet in very quiet country position. Short drive down lane to pretty Moyaux. Overall just what we wanted and David was so helpfu.

Bijzonder gastvrij!

Prima in orde goed verzorgd en gastvrije mensen David en Tricia. Heerlijk, rustig achteraf. Voor bezienswaardigheden moet je wel ver rijden. Weinig restaursnts in de directe omgeving, maar was voor ons niet perce nodig.

on a passé des magnifiques vacances Monsieur David et quelqu'un de très gentil accueillant de très bon cœur elle a trop gâté notre chienne🐶, c'est trop mignon c'est charmant avec un immense jardin ma chienne elle était très contente et en sécurité, merci à Monsieur David et sa femme tricia😊 on reviendra sûrement❤️

Peaceful surroundings, perfect for relaxing in a lovely well equipped gite.

We enjoyed our week in the gite, which was certainly the best equipped self-catering accommodation we ever have stayed in. David and Tricia were very welcoming, made sure that we had everything we needed on arrival, and provided us with lots of information on places to visit, shopping etc. It was very peaceful - just what we needed, and it was always a pleasure to return to this lovely spot after a day out.

des Hotes au top!

Davis et Tricia sont des hôtes remarquables avec beaucoup de petites attentions à notre arrivée rendant le séjour fort agréable. Le séjour a été charmant , nous avons eu en plus, de la chance d'avoir du beau temps Même nos chiennes en redemandent , elles ont vites compris que chez David et Tricia c'était "open bar" pour les friandises. A revenir incontestablement

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Chalet Bliss. Everything was just perfect – the house is very cozy, comfortable, and beautifully kept, and we truly didn’t miss anything during our time here. We slept very well, and the whole atmosphere made us feel at home right away.Even though we could only spend a short holiday here, we really appreciated the flexibility that we didn’t have to book for a whole week, which made it so much easier for us.The garden was fantastic for our dogs – they could happily run and play, which made the stay even more relaxing for us. It’s truly a dog-friendly place and ideal for a getaway with pets.We are very grateful to our hosts David and Tricia for their warm welcome and care. Chalet Bliss is a little paradise, and we would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing, flexible, and pet-friendly holiday in Normandy.

An excellent place to explore Normandy

Normandy is a wonderful place for a vacation. The countryside is very beautiful, the sea nearby, and there are interesting towns with nice cafés, bars, restaurants and museums nearby. The cottage is a great place from which to explore Normandy. It is set in a beautiful garden, it is very quiet, and just sitting on the terrace is pure vacation. In addition, David and Tricia are very obliging hosts who gave us tips on the surrounding area and occasionally treated us to cider and wine. All in all, highly recommended!
