The staff are incredible. Sail went above and beyond to get me here and everyone is so welcoming. They remember names and where everyone is from. I don’t know how they do it but I have never met a more welcoming people than those in Fiji, especially here. They have snorkel gear, kayaks and paddle boards ready to be taken out at anytime. I had such a great and relaxing stay. Would absolutely recommend anyone looking at Fiji to look here. The property could use a little TLC but I think that’s just life on an island with lots of humidity, wind and salt water.

For the self contained couple who want a positive adjunct to their life, this was perfect. The staff are 10/10.

This is a great location to experience Fiji for the first time. There are two beaches included in the resort that are walking distance to each other. The food was great with lots of choice and good quality. The cocktails at the pool bar and drinks were delicious made by Oscar and Seru. A fantastic benefit was free and unlimited use of the kayaks, snorkels and fins. The evening entertainment, in particular the singer and the choir were absolutely fantastic! The sunset bus trip to the western part of the island was a gorgeous way to start the evening/finish a day relaxing. A wonderful addition to the resort.

Serenity Island Resort offered us a truly memorable stay thanks to the incredible staff who made us feel like family. A special thank you to Emosi, Nate, David, Peter, and Seru for their kindness and hospitality. Our oceanfront bure had beautiful views, and we enjoyed walking in the shallow waters at low tide, spotting purple starfish and other sea life. Snorkeling was good all around the island, and the sandbar trip to the coral walls was a highlight. The resort is older than pictured online, and some equipment like kayak paddles could use updating, but the experience was still lovely. The handline fishing was fun, and the staff fried up our catch for a delicious meal. The lovo dinner was another standout. We recommend the full board meal plan as the food was fresh and varied each day. One challenge was with their reservations team, based off-site, who were out of sync with the actual resort schedule. Activities we pre-booked, like massages, fishing, and scuba, did not match what was available, and we needed medical clearance for scuba that wasn’t communicated. It’s better to book activities once you arrive. Despite a few hiccups, Serenity Island Resort offered a wonderful experience filled with warmth, culture, and beautiful scenery.

I was very disappointed with this resort. From the moment we arrived, the reception staff were unfriendly, with no smile or warm welcome. The resort is old, poorly maintained, and overpriced. Our room was not up to standard: dirty taps, a toilet that didn’t flush properly, and stained towels. The food was by far the worst we had during our three-week trip around Fiji. The quality was poor, the service was very slow, and drinks were served in plastic cups. Dining felt more like a cafeteria than a holiday resort. The organisation was also poor. I had already paid for my boat transfer but was asked to pay again on arrival. No apology was offered when the mistake was discovered. I also asked whether my booking included full board. A staff member checked my room number and confirmed that it did, but this information was completely wrong. It was also unacceptable that the resort regularly ran out of drinking water, even in the small shop. The shop was poorly stocked, with almost no snacks or ice creams for children. Overall, this resort feels like a mass-tourism destination rather than an authentic Fijian experience. For the price charged, the accommodation, food, service, maintenance, and organisation were all well below expectations. I would not stay here again or recommend it.
